Vass has been pretty quick lately...a year wait doesn't make much sense

I think there were some issues sourcing the museum calf, at least that's what I was told regarding the delays

^^^ I have yet to order directly through Vass, but the majority of my purchases have been through European resellers and US dealers. Pricing can be a bit varied, but the single MTO price has never seemed to be that much higher than the standard stock price. If you have a particlar makeup in mind, contact Epaulet for a quote (I understand Vass does not ship directly to individual US customers any longer).

Unless you had a pre-existing relationship.

yes, they're oxblood. was channeling my inner Roger P when I chose the color

thanks namor   it was a little bit of a struggle for them to turn out right, this was the 3rd build of the boot as
that style is normally built on the F last  but I like the result on the U a lot.

now that I have them, I wonder if goyser welt stitching would be too much on that boot
[/quote I think that with the goyser and vibram soles would loose that sleekness, they'd look more like a working shoe, rather than a dress shoe. You made a good choice,I'm just about to order the same specifications as your boots.Great pics. And great last.
