Since I no longer wear ties on a daily basis, I thought I'd significantly prune my collection of 200+ ties. As most of them are in excellent condition, I thought I'd inquire as to whether there is any interest from SF members in my posting photos and selling them. There are likely to be quite a few Trad ones from my past, including bow ties.

I'm not an E-Bay kind of guy, so I doubt I'll go that route...Any interest?

I own one tie. I would be interested, as long as they aren't really expensive. I don't get the oppotunity to wear a tie very often so it's a bit hard to justify the money.

I'm always looking to add to my tie collection. Just a young guy with less than deep pockets but the willingness to splurge on a couple of ties has never hurt.

Would love to see pics.

Prices would be very reasonable. They are gently used. I would suspect that the most expensive one wouldn't be more than $25, with most in the $10-$20 range.

I'm just keen on finding new homes for them with people who will have some degree of appreciation and, frankly, making a little pocket money. Under-employment is not fun!

A wide range of brands will be represented, ranging from newer and older Brooks Brothers, Faconnable, Pink, and one Hermes. There may be a J. Press tie or two in the mix as well.

It appears there's interest, so I'll try to start getting some pictures tonight/tomorrow.

Also, if this is popular, I will make a contribution to J in appreciation for SF....

Thanks guys!

I'd likely buy at least two as my current summer job requires me to war ties and I don't have an extensive collection by any stretch.

One Hermes in 200+ ties? You've done well there, I have a few though I don't wear them anymore, having 'grown' out of that 'motif' phase.

Yeah -- I never really got into Hermes ties. The one I have was a gift.

As a student, I'd be interested in this as well. Please, post away!
