Hey Styleforum - my name is Andrew Chen and I'm the founder and co-owner of 3sixteen, a NYC-based men's brand that specializes in denim. Together with my partner Johan Lam (JL77), who lives and works in LA, we've been producing jeans for 5+ years now. I'm happy to announce that 3sixteen has officially joined on as an affiliate and we'll be using this thread as a place to announce new products, post photos of jean evolutions, and answer your questions. Some of you may already be familiar with our jeans - we have a long standing Styleforum thread with lots of great history and information here, but will be primarily using this official affiliate thread going forward.
Our website, where you can check out all the styles we make and locate a retailer near you, is 3sixteen.com. If you ever need customer service help, the fastest way to get ahold of us is via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
For those who are unfamiliar with 3sixteen, the brand was founded in 2003 and we are headquartered in NYC's Lower East Side. Our company focuses on jeans that are made in the USA of custom fabrics that are woven exclusively for us by Kuroki Mills in Okayama, Japan. We pride ourselves on both our cuts and our fabrics, which are extremely soft from day one and are thus easier to break in than your average raw selvedge jean. As I mentioned, both Johan and I have been Styleforum posters for some time now but we're looking forward to interacting with you more via this thread. We look forward to chatting with you!
