Question about suit jacket length.

MInding that it varies depending on each manufacturers sizing parameters, it would hover around 2" shorter or longer from Regular in overall length and sleeve length. if there is a science to this, and there may well be, I would also like to learn. Welcome to Styleforum stackvibe.
