I felt that I should comment on Buttero sneaker sizing here. The sneakers are built on the Serena sole, the same as Common Projects, so the "footprint" is similar". The toebox on the Butteros is slightly more shallow, and the leather heavier, then on Common Projects, so they fit slightly smaller, but I am the same size in both, a size 43. I have about 20 pairs of common Projects, and 5 pairs of Butteros (lows, highs, and Chukkas), and find the sizing comparable between the two brands. I am a size 44 in Margiela German Army trainers, for those who want that comparison.

Very interesting. I find that, while on the same sole, the Buttero definitely fit a tad smaller than CPs in the same size. Mostly because of the leathers - the Buttero leather is thicker and tighter while the CP is very soft and stretches. Every foot is different of course - I have a thick foot with a reasonably strong instep so what happens at the upper level also makes a difference in the fit.

No kidding, if it wasn't for the f'ing government shutdown! Out of all those, I didn't see one I didn't like. I really need some brown ties and I'm hoping a lot of your Drakes aren't 3". Greg, you sure know how to take appealing pictures.

For those who are very particular about tie width... we have different widths of ties with different makers : all Drakes ar 8cm, almost all Bigi are 9cm and all Calabrese are 8.5cm. I personally find little difference between wearing an 8cm tie and a 9cm but I know that many men have strong preferences.

Wow, Stefano Bigi, that is not a household name.

Which ones are the Bigi?
