It's going to take me an hour to remove these socks that aren't on sale and get the tie I want.

It will be worth it.

It will be faster to just buy the socks too !

I'm just hoping stuff doesn't get bought out from under me while it's in my bag and I'm trying to put some other stuff in there. I'm half tempted to make multiple orders, haha.

We don't mind - we'll assemble them all in one box of course

Snagged two ties and a pocket square, hopefully all still in stock. Took a little bit to get through but it actually seemed to speed up towards the end.

This might be a good place to ask for some advice. I have this tie, which I love very much, especially wearing it with this particular suit, but unfortunately it is falling apart, and the very light silver is beginning to fade and become discolored, especially around the knot, where it gets handled to tie it and such. I always try to wash my hands before touching my ties, but alas they get old. I would really like this tie again, which is made by Drake's, but it probably isn't possible. I was thinking of this Drakes to replace it on Greg's site. Any other suggestions?

How many times a year and how long have you had that tie? I've never had discoloring and tend to avoid light colored ties...but now I'm righteously paranoid that I've done damage to some of my favorites. This weekend will involve an intense inspection.

placed my first NMWA order today with the Founder's Circle sale - some prices were just too good to pass up. I really wanted to try the suede Heschung boots but without trying them on it would be a big gamble on the sizing, and can't justify pulling the trigger with no returns on sale merch.

I have had it for a number of years. I wear it often, but not in the summer, or warmer months because it is a bit chunkier than it looks and I have a shepherd's check I like to wear with similar colored suits that are reserved for summer.

Will via A Suitable Wardrobe made a good post about death of ties due to discoloration and/or dining hazards. I mean you don't need a microscope to determine when your tie needs replacing. Before anybody brings it up, yes this tie has been cleaned via tie crafters as well has been completely relined by them some time ago. The weave itself it opening up and such. The discoloration, honestly probably isn't noticeable by most in most situation, but I know it is there and it bothers me. Like this subtle transition from silver to a yellowish. Must be all of the Italian olive oil flowing through my veins being transferred over time.

Haven't really checked Hober. As you might already know, buying ties is probably the most stressful thing in the world for me. I don't make it easy on myself either with my penchant for simple palates.
