Greg, two things.

When I filter by brand for neckties for example and I hover over the tiles on safari, the items start to disappear. Quite bizarre.

Also, I really dislike how I have to wait for the items to load when scrolling down. Really really really hate that, all the items should appear without having to wait 5x for all the ties to load then every time I click one and go back, the torture begins all over again.

Also, have you considered filtering by tie width?

i think all the ties within each brand are the same width, and the different brands are different widths. so sorting by brand should accomplish that. ill let greg confirm, but i think thats correct.

Pretty sure this helps performance of the site. Doesn't bother me at all. One option is for folks to open tabs to look at the gear details instead of clicking through and using 'back'. (Didn't know people still did that..)

i open tabs like that to view items, but the site does tend to run a little slow for me. not horrible, but some lag in load time of pictures and stuff.

Website runs slow on my computer. Annoying for the impatient.

Also, I second/third/fourth the suggestion that all items show up instead of having to wait.

didn't know people would open 20 tabs and use more clicks, guess you like creating more work for yourself

i have 20 SF tabs up at once many times a day.

also, with online shopping i like to keep items up in tabs so i can quickly click back and forth from tab to tab and decide what i like best.

I hear you guys, but the items appear 30 at a time so really, how fast do you need to scroll through those ties? I picked personally every single one of those ties and I want you guys to at least spend 1/10th of a second looking at them! ;)

i dont mind that they dont all appear at once, i just think it would be cool if they loaded a little faster. even the first few lines are a little slow loading for me.
