You may have to wait a very long time to get a picture of an SFer in swim trunks...

Here are fit pics of the two lengths that we sell - those should hopefully help

Robinson Les Bains (15.5" / 40 cm" length)

Lightning Bolt Plain Crane (16" / 40.5cm length)

Lightning Bolt Surfari (18" / 45.5cm length)

I think Mr. Sam would gladly oblige and work with the image above...

Just received my Schneider Gemini cardigan. It's really, really nice. Like with a lot of Schneider stuff, I feel like it's hard to get a good sense of the textiles from just photos. I was expecting this to be loosely knit, but it's actually stiffer and drapes better. The knitting is really dense. Kyle's modeling photos also give a good sense of how it looks when worn (IMO a bit more informative than just seeing it on a hanger).

The blue seems to be more popular than the gray, but upon handling it, I think the gray might go better with jeans. The blue is really nice though, and I'll be wearing it tomorrow.

Would love a fit pic of the Gemini(s), if at all possible.

Greg - Does the redness of the cotton solaro show up well under sunlight? Not to hit on cotton solaros, but I was under the impression that the wool version better represented the dual toned nature of it... Albeit as you pointed out, the heavy weight contradicts its raison d'etre.

another sizing question: can you give me measurements for the Lightning Bolt shirts? M = ? L = ?

thnx

That is not the case.   After going through dozens of swatches, I can tell you that the level of redness depends simply on the darkness/intensity of the color of the red warp vs the main tan color.   There's all sorts of gradations of redness, even in one given book.  And that's true for wool and cotton. Some even do green or navy backing instead of red.  In the Caccioppoli cotton solaros, there are several options again - the one we chose is not the "redest".  I think it has nice balance - you can detect the red under angles and in natural light, but it isn't glaring or too "weird".   i.e. it's a suit that anyone can wear for a summer wedding, fancy brunch out, or whatever and you will not be assailed with questions about why you're wearing a red chromatic suit.  To most eyes it is barely visible ;  to the educated eye, it is unmistakable

They should be shipping to us end of May.   When we receive them, we'll send a link to everyone to pay the balance, and we'll ship all sweaters as customers pay their balance.

Those are supposed to be done in 6-7 weeks after order confirmation.  Add shipping from Italy + dispatch to customer... I'd say overall two months from order confirmation to the final customer's door is our best estimate
