the reason there are no calabrese ties is that i bought them all before they had a chance to go live.

Thinking of picking up the Niche Blue loose-knit cotton short sleeve pocket sweater

and wearing it with my Sassafras Sprayer Stream pant (rolled up hem):

and my navy butteros.

Thoughts?

That sounds awesome. Or with some espadrilles

I've got a pair of Ropey Soles in a jean fabric that I think would look great. And I also have these:

But I'm sure you're referring to a pair of Castaner. Heh. Those are the best looking espadrilles I've come across, and it's a great price no doubt.

Sounds like a great fit idea smile.gif

My Apaches came today. Great shoe. Extremely comfortable as well. Like a slipper.

They size huge though. I am normally a size 10.5-11, or UK 9.5. I got the UK 9/US 9.5, and they fit and are pretty roomy.

That's the tan - brown solaro, right?

Really like the look of that one. First time I've ever really been tempted by a solaro fabric.

What's the weight off the top of your head?

That's good to know. Are you saying though, you could have gone with UK8.5 as well?

No, the length is perfect, but unlike the Malkos, which run long but are slim through the midfoot, these are roomy throughout. They are completely unlined. They are made from a very supple full grain suede, which is impressive. It's unusual to see in mocassins of this quality.
