Less tapered jawnz, er, jeanz, call for boots IMO, that's why I got the regular cut, and not the slim (12 oz). Have plenty of slimmer jeans, so its nice to have a pair a little more relaxed, which to my eye looks better w/ boots. For the record I have small feet too, and a whole lotta boots.
YMMV. I wear mine with boots as well, but was dissatisfied with the width after shrinking. They reminded me of the baggy jeans I used to wear in high school. They're still pretty relaxed, but I think the look is better. Certainly not skinny or tight, but with a better line. If I do buy another pair I will probably size down next time. This may alleviate the problem.
Very nice! We have similar tastes. Tell me about the Schneider shirt jacket. I would love to see pics in action.

Still, it is a very nice piece and very well made. Also, with the color described as a "Dark" blue-grey, it reads as a medium-leaning-light gray, but has a faint navy/indigo sort of cast to it that's tough to explain or put your finger on. I think it makes the color especially versatile as a casual piece. It softens up the gray so that I could see it it would go with almost anything.
Unfortunately, I won't be sizing up for it though - while it's light enough to be a light jacket almost anywhere else, here in Florida the weave is still a bit too heavy for me. If I lived anywhere that it wasn't summer 2/3 to 3/4 of the year, it'd be a solid keeper. If you think you like it from the pics, you'll love it in person.
