The Schneider grey-blue baseball jacket is amazing.

Finally got a decent day here in Boston so I was wearing it while walking around Newbury and Boylston.

To give an idea of sizing, I am 6'1 175 and a size 40R jacket and size 4 fits me perfectly. Really don't need/shouldn't have on much aside from a t-shirt under this jacket. Looks great with indigo denim and sneakers for a very relaxed look.

Very minimal shrinkage for me with the Big John sanforized denim. Just order by the measurements and don't look back.

Ty. I already have a pair, as yet unwashed and unworn, and they're too big in waist. Wondering if I should size down, which would be a tiny bit snug, as the written measurements have it. Would they stretch out slightly with wear?

Denim will stretch/loosen a little bit with wear but I think sanforized denim has a decent break in period.

As others have noted, unsanforized denim will shrink; sanforized denim will not (at least not to any appreciable amount). Sanforized denim will stretch though. If I were you, I'd go a bit snug, rather than a bit loose. Even 3sixteens - which are known for not stretching very much - can gain about 1.5" in the waist after a month or two of wear.

dieworkwear is the expert here, but my experience is that jeans end up looser rather than tighter as long as you never, ever, ever put them in the dryer (not that anyone hear would ever think of such heretical behavior).

Thanks for this. Most notorious in my experience are APC's, which they recommend sizing down 2-3 sizes. I'd guess mine have stretched 3" or so.

Yea, APCs are sanforized, and are known for stretching more than most.

Just note, the tighter the jeans, the more you'll be at risk of crotch blow outs. But you can get those repaired fairly easily through Self Edge of Denim Surgeon nowadays. Costs about $40.

@murlsquirl that Formosa looks formidable. I don't think I'd size the jacket down. Looks so comfortable. Line of the trousers looks good too. That's a serious set of additions to your wardrobe.

Thanks! I might take you up on that!

Thanks. It's going to be very hard not to add every Formosa NMWA has to my wardrobe. Best RTW fit I've ever had.

Alright you guys; you're referring to "jeans" as "jawnz" again. Jawnz can refer to literally anything. All jeans are jawnz, but not all jawnz are jeans. "Yo did you check out the new Schneider jawnz on NMWA?" makes sense; "You wear khakis but not jawnz?" does not.
