David's latest post talked of the Formosa trunkshow currently underway. Any pics? I've always been quite curious of Formosa.

Most appointments are still first consultation and basted fittings at this point.  Only two customers took delivery of finished garments this time around.    I have a couple of pics but need to mask faces first.

Yasuto Kamoshita is one of the co-founders of United Arrows and a passionate of Italian style.   You have most likely seen some pictures of him in the past - he is one of the most photographed men in menswear.

Five years ago, he started creating a capsule collection to convey his taste - a mix of Italian tradition and more "retro" colors and fabrics (for lack of a better word).

Here is a cool little video from UA about Camoshita, partially filmed at Liverano in Florence (a great inspiration of his).   You'll spot a couple of familiar faces in the background :)

Brown cotton Rotas and suede tubo belt (not really visible).

I haven't taken the Rotas to the tailor yet for hemming, so I have them rolled. Fit in the waist suits me fine. Fabric is wonderful. Just shy of moleskin in the hand and very soft.

Just wondering if there are going to be additional drops for Schnieder. Lots of blues but not grays or blacks. Also, no pants.

This is the color palette of the collection : http://www.stephanschneider.be/#/collection

There are a few pieces in midnight blue that are close to black - but we do not have any black pieces for SS14. There's some grey though.

We're adding some more pieces today - everything should be online by end of day.  No trousers though.

Really like the polo Kamoshita is wearing in that vid--collar, placket, sleeve. Anyone know where to find one like that? Sorta ban lon style but not polyester?

(I also like that quotation, on how he appreciates being corrected by a mentor)
