Thanks, just got them back from a long stay at the tailors.  We started with cuffs and ended with no cuffs.

Someone in my office was thoroughly perplexed by them.  “what color are…pause…I mean what are those?”

Lol. As for going no cuffs, did they make the trews look too "busy" (lack of better term) given the high visual interest provided by the donegal weave?

The fit is junk due to me being a complete amateur. I'm going to try to go to another "tailor" to,get some more stuff fixed. I will probably look for some guidance in the tailor's thread as well. Still, the fabric is wonderful. When I get my act together I will probably need a few more Eidos suits.

(Sorry about the horrible knot and the poor collar adjustment:()

You have quite a low left shoulder. How does your alteration tailor deal with that? (if he does)

They didn't even mention it. I live in Orlando which is famous for its lack of quality tailors. I'm basically going to have to study tailoring myself to get them to properly alter my stuff

Wow. It was the first thing I noticed...definitely don't go back to that guy.

The problem is, even if you study alterations and know what you need, you still need to find a tailor capable of doing it. I'm in a similar boat...no quality alterations tailors within 3 hours of here. Best of luck.

Thanks, I'll probably have to fly up to NY for a day and do MTM at the NMWA shop for my next suit. It may be worth it in the long run...

guess MTM won't address low shoulder so you might want to go for bespoke.. also maybe sleeve should be rotated a bit (but maybe that's just way it looks on that photo)

suit is great, which reminds me to fly across the world to NWMA HQ to try Eidos :)

Quick PSA : as we put up online some of the spring arrivals, we will be retiring last spring/summer items from the site. If you had your eyes on something, grab it now before it's gone. If you don't have your eyes on anything, now is the time to look... :)

What does a Camoshita 50 translate into? US 32?

They measure on the dot - a 50 measures exactly 34", a 52 exactly 36"... So it depends on what you mean by "a 32". Most trousers marked 32 do not measure 32" at the waist (usually a good inch more). Leg opening is 7.5" and rise is 11" on those
