What is the proper fit/wear of the Macintosh quilted jackets? Is is thigh length or how far down it should bottom out without being too long?
Anyone with a fit pic of a sz 38?
Thanks

It will be a usable weight for your climate. It isn't lightweight, but it isn't heavy.

Mine is a 3XL. Seriously.

22" chest
36" arms

Crap...out of stock. Thanks for the info though.

new Formosa mto in the moonbeam brown w/ blue check came in on thurs...already dropped it at the tailor to have the buttonholes cut...pick up next saturday then pics...fit is spot on

i'm waiting on the inky blue now...

but i'm wanting to get another spring/summer jacket up and running

what are people's thoughts on this cloth:

Green Wool/Silk/Linen Blend from the Draper's Estate book - 240g / 7.5oz - nice and light for summer

Make up - double breast peak lapel...patch pockets...barchetta....not sure on buttons...maybe a brown horn....i think since this is such a lightweight fabric it might be better suited to a half-lining as opposed to a quarter-lining...for drape purposes...

i think this cloth would look awesome as a double breasted sc

It's in stock in black and this is a good piece for black. Would make a great SW&D sweater.

Was just thinking the same thing....

Holy cow, I just saw I passed 3k posts.....I need an intervention!

I can't swing it, PCK1, but I wish I could. That would make an incredible DB jacket similar to what RedDevil is rocking here but a bit more understated:

Obligatory popped collar shot of the Eidos field jacket:

@justinkapur, your measurements seem strange compared to my size EU50. Mine measures:
Pit-to-pit: 22"
Shoulders: 19"
Shoulder-to-sleeve: 26"
Length (base of collar to hem): 29.75"

I used Gregs measuring video to take measurements

Yes his is cut by Orazio Luciano...very nice...

I am positive Formosa can cut this cloth into a beautiful DB SC....

SO THE QUESTION BEGS.....

WHO IS IN ON THIS RIGHT NOW?

I will give you a free 10% off all NMWA purchases in the future if you get in on this...use code SF10.
