No restock (beyond returns and exchanges)

But we will hold an MTO/MTM event for Rota at the upcoming NYC trunk show on Nov 5.   Stop by, pick a fabric among dozens of swatch and get exactly what you want.

Greg,

What would be the warmest temperature that this jacket would be suitable/comfortable in?

It looks to have a lining, yes?

Correct, it has a wool lining and is probably best for temperatures below 50 or so?  With proper layering, I'd say you could go down below freezing without problems

I would fly to NYC to eat at Le Bernadin and shop at NMWA. Not necessarily in that order.

Greg, TS(S) quilted jacket, with the functional buttons, how difficult would it be to shorten the sleeves ? Thanks

It would have to be done from the shoulder

You would have to wear a rabbit fur lined parka the whole time I think. I recall seeing some of those somewhere... smile.gif

I'll tell Ripert to buy one. He's the quintessential French movie star...who's not actually an actor.

Thanks Gents.

It looks beautiful. Bad arse black....Hopefully they make a SS Field type jacket like that.

PSA:  bad news, people.  We just heard from Eidos that they cancelled 3 styles of field jackets (grey herringbone, brown HB, brown/gray basketweave) and 2 styles of hunting jackets (charcoal and brown heavy wool) - entirely, all sizes.    So, if you pre-ordered a FJ or HJ and didn't get an email saying it arrived, your style was cancelled.

We'll send emails to everyone who pre-ordered to work through refunding deposits.  It sucks and it is frustrating, I'm really sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Disappointed to hear this. Was looking forward to the grey FJ. Oh well, these things happen.

@gdl203 - I'm weirdly curious about the inner workings of the industry on something like this, can you share the underlying reason? I'm thinking possibilities like there just wasn't enough interest to justify the run, maybe the provider of the materials pulled out, or maybe their production resource levels changed and they had to cut something/somewhere.

Again, not trying to pry or sling any mud, I'm just curious from a process perspective. And I fully understand if you just can't say ... lurker[1].gif

@gdl203 will this hiccup affect any future Eidos MTOs? I'll probably order another HJ if there's a MTO in early 2017.
