Yep. I have the grey birdseye; it was my preorder suit for the fall/winter. It's a great one. Still haven't had time to take it to my tailor to get it hemmed but the weather hasn't been appropriate for it yet either, so no harm no foul.

Just bought 2.5m of the oatmeal flannel to get a jacket made up that I could wear with the trousers I have, thanks to that pic of @UrbanComposition that G posted. Might have to go DB as well.

No shirts this season.  We have a cool roll neck cotton shirt that we will be adding next week, but no buttoned shirts

@NMWA and owners of the single breasted Norwegian Rain coat

How versatile do you find this coat in a more casual setting? Meaning mostly worn with jeans, chinos/cords and wool pants as i rarely wear suits. Also from the pictures the texture doesn't scream rain coat so I assume it wouldn't look out of place when it's not raining.

I'm looking to upgrade (basically starting from scratch) my outerwear in a "smart" way so I'm weighting all my options.

If you're worried that people will think "look at that idiot wearing a topcoat in the rain!" then I don't think that's an issue. If it's raining, then the water will be beading off of it, which makes it clear that it's a raincoat. As far as wearing it casually, I think it's great for that. A lot of the brand's lookbooks feature models in more casual clothing.

I think F/W 16 has been your best collection to date. The scarf selection this year is especially great. Well done @gdl203 and @conceptual 4est.

Got the grey flannel Fox Bros. newsboy cap in. I ordered the 59cm and fit is great. Snug, but not tight. For sizing info, I'm typically a 7 3/8 for fitted hats and head measures pretty much exactly 59cm, so I'd say these fit TTS for the metric measurement.

Really wonderful hat too. I'd been on the lookout for a newsboy hat and the intersection of NMWA and Fox Flannel fit the bill perfectly.

Now I notice there are other colors... smile.gif
