Not everyone's cup of tea is perfect for MTO. And I think it looks fantastic. I like that swatch you posted below as well.

Where do you look for fabrics?

I usually just look through whatever my tailor has and then think about the look I want for each garment. For anything summer you can't go wrong with drapers. For winter, I'm all over the place but you will find some good stuff in the porter & harding glen royal book. The purple swatch is from the Dormeuil Cashmere club.

I've started to think about what to do with the NMWA Fox Flaannel oatmeal special order that is due this summer. The last time this went around I made a pair of trousers and am very happy with the results. Has anybody turned this fabric into a odd jacket or a suit? If so, what were your impressions?

I take it size 1 is too small for you? May I ask what's your head's circumference measurement? (asking as I have one on the way, too, and took the recommended size, fully expect it to work, though.)

There is still some Portuguese Flannel incoming for the spring/summer, correct?

Nope, the 8 styles that went up a month or so back were our full selection for this season. I've gotten some good wear out of my blue oxford and slubby striped cotton ones already, now that the weather has finally turned.

OTR with some tailoring. For my next one I would order pants a size smaller and maybe slimmer than OTR.

I've been wearing my diver ladies. Was attacked by a roving pack of Cougars at a bar recently and they liked the shirt that one of them stuck her hand down the back to look at the label. True story.

How long of a cut are the Portuguese Flannel shirts? How much of the rear do they cover?

Was actually looking for that one myself.

So I picked this up today along with some shades.

I'm not in suits at all. A few times a year maybe and only have a few pocket squares to my name. I thought this would be a nice alternative to the white and a plain cream. I also like the larger dimensions.

Seeing how I rarely use a PS I was pretty excited seeing this and examining it closer online. Even if it doesn't get much wear I feel like I'm collecting a little piece of art. The colors appear quite neutral, which I really like and I like the pieces of blue that show.

The "London", "Florence", and "Hong Kong" are neat.

They are on the shorter side....I'd say about half of the rear (6'3" and take the L).  Perfect length for an untucked casual shirt IMO.

Cheers for that! Then I should by all means be fine with my 1 for the navy. I measured 58cm and based on your FB guess the 2 could be too loose and fall too low on me (over the ears, not a good look). Also suspecting there might be a little give in the material.

Anyone have any insight into the slimness of the GRP polos? I tried the long sleeve polos and they fit perfect in the shoulders and chest but were a bit too tight in the tummy last year; wondering if this year's are the same cut. Thanks!
