For those who are not sure how to wear and separate the tobacco linen suit, some good shots in the new Drakes look book of a very similar jacket worn as separates












They sell it as an odd jacket but I think it's so much more versatile to also have the matching trousers for the full suit :



I know I'm taking mine to Pitti this summer and I'm sure I'll get two outfits out of it. Makes it easier to travel light

That would have been my default as well. But aside from the whole "he bought it, he should wear it however he likes" thing, I think Amused's choice works here. Between the chalk stripe, the flannel texture, the double-breasted cut, and the peak lapels, there's already a lot going on there. I'm not sure the outfit "needs" another focal point . . .
