Wow congrats bdavro. Presents associated with life events like that are always really meaningful. Every time you'll look at your briefcase, it will remind you of the birth of your baby and that special bond with her and your wife.

Thank you all for the well wishes, I feel very lucky to be me these days :)

It was pretty wrinkled out of the box, so I don't know how it will look at the end of a day of wear. But the wrinkles have mostly dropped out after a couple of days hanging. The drape of the fabric is pretty good given the weight of the fabric. I'm a fan.

Thank you for your thoughts, my friend. I think my lady friend might have won the war though -- she voted for the micro houndstooth over the POW. She thought the POW looked plaintiff's lawyer-y. Sometimes it makes me sad how wrong she is frown.gif.

You're right and thank you. Now, any thoughts on care? I was thinking Bick 4 or Lexol, but could be persuaded otherwise if you have suggestions from La Portegna.

Congrats!
And now that you're a member of the club, we'll let you in on a little secret. We talk about 4:00 a.m. feedings and walking around the house or driving around the neighborhood in the wee hours trying to get the wee one to sleep as though it's the world's biggest burden. Please help us keep up the front, because we get crazy credit from our co-parents and female friends and co-workers for doing it. But really, it's one of the world's biggest blessings. Those moments when you hold your tiny child and feel like you're the only two people alive on the entire planet will stay with you the rest of your life. Savor them while you can; they're well worth a few lost zzz's.

In about 15 years you'll again be pacing the house late into the night, but for different parental reasons ... smile.gif

I've been looking at those too, but am wondering about fit, part. top block. I have slim thighs and hips, but *ahem* a little excess around the midsection, so often I have to size up to accommodate the latter. For reference I found Monitaly 5 pockets to have a bit too much room in top block. What's your take?

edit: I should add I'm 49-50 in Rota, and am looking at an L in FL trous.

I have used Lexol with great results.

I have no problem with what I anticipate will be some sleepless nights for the former, and for the latter I am somewhat hoping I meet an early demise first :)
