I think Mauro has the copyright on that.

It would be much more poetic for unbel to be strangled by a calabrese tie.

@gdl203, how easy is it to shorten the sleeves on the sashiko jacket? Large feels good in the shoulders and chest but sleeves are too long.

Medium sleeves are perfect but it's kind of uncomfortably tight across the yoke.

I don't see anything about the sleeves or sleeve head that give me pause about shortening them. Anything specific that makes you think it wouldn't be a simple alteration?

It's that time of the season when we start working on the Formosa options for fall/winter.

Let's hear some suggestions for suits and sport coats. And by "suggestions" I mean makeups that you would buy yourself (not just something that looks cool for someone else...) wink.gif

If you make a suggestion, Greg will just send the bill to your email if it gets chosen

The way the seam looks and I don't trust any tailor within 500 miles of where I live. I think I'll probably stick with the medium and just hope the shoulders stretch a bit.

That fox large scale glen check you showed me during the last Formosa visit would be awesome. And while I'm not ordering MTO or RTW, I'd be in for a jacket length to get made up (eventually) by Formosa after I get a couple other pieces finished first.

You know what I mean... Does "peak lapel 3 piece flannel chalk stripe suit" ring a bell? smile.gif

I just want to focus on great fabrics that you guys actually want to wear/own

I second Don's statement.

And also, another Lesser 13oz fabric would be nice. Preferably with the spalla camicia a manica. Really, more formalish suits with shirtsleeve shoulders would be nice (the morbida shoulders don't work as well for me).

If there were a run done of that Fox light grayish-brown herringbone, I would get a length for a future bespoke order. Greg, you know the one I mean? It's on a separate card.

I'd be interested in seeing this.

Navy barleycorn? Doesn't Scabal have some nice donegal/barleycorn fabrics?
