The XL fits me about the same as the Valstar suede Harrington in 54

I think it can be worn either fitted like a jacket or a bit looser, to accommodate another layer like the pic in the newsletter.   I personally tend to prefer it on the looser, more comfortable side so I would go for XXL if I was getting one.

BBJ Sashiko jacket Am a true 40 with a 32" waist...These run very small through the shoulders..Tried on both the 3 & 4 went with the 4. Which is fine, just a bit long in the sleeves that's about it. Fit is fine through Chest, shoulders and waist....

Got it last summer, washed it and faded really nice.

Very nice piece IMO Fabric weight etc.

Some of the patch work ones can be a little busy for me..

Enjoy

That piece is only made in two sizes.  "Small" is for typical S-M, "medium" for typical "L-XL"

Greg - how does the medium fit on you? Comfortable or a bit snug?

Not snug at all - it's a very roomy and flowy piece.

Its time for 20 questions! (and measurements)

Yeah just buy and return instead. I am sure it makes it easier for Greg and co.

If it were me I'd rather answer a few questions than have to eat a bunch of shipping costs, but I don't run the store so ymmv.

Also buying items just to try them on or buying multiple sizes is sort of a dick move on a limited stock item -- it prevents other people who are sure they want it and/or know their size from purchasing it, and it leaves the shop with inventory hanging out there in limbo.

First of all, size up. I am a size 40, and the 3 is nice, bit slim on me. Second. The chest is fine, but there is very little allowance through the upper back.

This summer one is a bit lighter weight than my fw one, bit still a very nice style.
