Yeah, it's the brushed cotton. All three fabrics are from NMWAs RTW stock. Thanks!

Great new Buttero styles. Anyone know the difference between calf and baby calf? Is it the softness of the upper?

Yes, much softer than the stiff veg tan leather. A very different feel. Some people already got their pre-orders and they may be able to weigh in with their impressions.

** warning ** the following is only tenuously linked to this thread...

I recently got a great new job that I am really excited about. I decided that to celebrate, I needed a new bag and had picked the LA Portegna Fat Carter bag in Sol brown leather as the perfect solution. So there I was on Saturday, minding my own business and about to place my order, when my pregnant wife decided to go into labor 2 months early. After a very scary two days and an emergency C section Monday morning, this happened:

Obviously my new bag purchase will be put on hold for a while, but I do appreciate my daughter sharing my commitment to punctuality.

Everyone is doing reasonably well and thankfully being early and tiny are our biggest concerns.

Question - how's the fit on the Norwegian Rain Pilot Short jacket? Chest measurement on Size M looks ample for me, but in the pic on the dummy, the jacket looks quite sculpted through the waist, and my build is more | | than \ /. Is there a lot of taper from chest to the waist?

Thanks,
Harry

Sorry for the late reply..

I went with a 5, which I think corresponds to Large.. Kyle recommended a 4 might be okay but that would've been too tight IMO.

I'm about 5'11 185. The A1 fits like a great sweater. Not tight, but not like loose outwear either.. Hope this helps.

He's got a few other very important things on his mind right now...

Also, I need to know: What're the leather strap and buttons for on the back of the NR collars?
