I have a sizing question (a quick one, I promise) but when I click the "customer service" link it keeps going to an error page (I'm on mobile if that makes a diff). Can I PM one of you or could somebody tell me the contact email?
Heschung wearers out there: Time for sizing talk again!!!!!
So I keep looking at those Bruce kudu suede derbies (which are something like $245 with the sale and extra discount and spring's right around the corner and if you haven't handled kudu suede you haven't really lived, just saying)...
If I'm a 45 in Vass in general and 11D/10.5E in Alden Barrie (I know that's all a little weird... I think I end up sizing up to get width), is anyone able to make a concrete, definitive, iron-clad, and guaranteed statement that the Heschung 10s would fit me?
Seems like they could be close. 10.5 not available. Assume 11 too large.
I'm a 45 in the F-last and a 10.5 or 11 in the Barrie last and I took an 11 in the Heachung Malko, which is my only Heschung experience.
I think conventional wisdom would say a US 15 translates into a 38 or so EU. But that's pretty loose (no pun intended), since US shirts tend to be sized just by neck and sleeve size, with huge variations in the chest and shoulders. (NMWA site does have neck and sleeve measurements posted, so that should give you a point of comparison.) But I'd definitely get a chest measurement (knowing your suit coat size should get you close) and shoulder measurement. Sleeve length is a relatively easy fix. Shoulder width not so much.
For what it's worth, I take a 40 in Inglese. In standard US dress shirt sizing I generally take a 15.75/36; in casual shirt sizes I'm like a M/L. I know you have some WvG shirts, so as another data point I wear a large before dinner (with monkey arms) or medium after dinner in those.
this was huge help!
i purchased the current donegal shirt in 38 and fit was spot on. now im ready to preorder
They are both on the same last (Country). Generally, Country fits a half size big - so a typical US11 would take Eu10/US 10.5 in Heschung Country. That's the case here for the Cox. The kudu ones, even though on the same last, are unlined, and the kudu leather is super soft, so they fit a little roomier in reality.
I am a 44 in Vass F and P2 and I wear US 10.5 in almost everything Heschung. I could go down to US 10 in the kudu derbies, especially if going sockless
