Torn between the Geller washed garment bomber in Grey or Magenta...
@gdl203, can you comment on the magenta color since you saw it in person? Magenta sounds pretty vibrant...but it looks more muted on the runway.

And is Ochre basically the mustard color from the tencel bomber last spring? Thanks!

I'm not sure which runway pictures you're looking at but the ones I've seen show the pieces darker and more saturated than they are IRL.

The Magenta bomber sample looked pretty much like this :

Not like the darker, more burgundy color shown on this pic:

This is also a good picture of that yellow/ochre color - it's a mustard color but not too vibrant/yellow

Obligatory San Francisco trunk show request. Likelihood Formosa would make the trip? I will certainly not the mistake of missing out on MTO Inglese next time.

Pretty miserable picture of what I think is a nice outfit.

What I thought.  The new size looks fantabulous on you.

I have an Eidos suit that I got through NMWA (this one here) in a size 50 that just needed a little letting out in the waist/skirt area to fit pretty darn good (the shoulders fit great but there was definitely no extra room up there).

I want to get in on the Field Jacket pre-orders. I'd like my Field Jacket to fit a little bit looser than I wear my suits. Any advice on whether I should go with my typical 50 or size up to the 52? The difference in the shoulder width is only 1cm so I think I'd rather go for the bigger size and just bring in the waist if I it feels like it needs to be done (if that's even possible on this type of jacket).

I know this question has probably been answered ad nauseum on here since the pre-order went live but it's hard searching through here because the thread moves surprisingly fast and things get buried so quickly.

You mean like "I love it when a plan comes together"? That takes me back to my salad days.

You should go for the same size as your suit size

Any photos of the color black surfacing on the internet for the Garment Dyed MA-1? This looks like a great alternative to replacing my old Ervell MA-1.

Edit:
Will the black have the same contrasting zipper hardware?

I get the runway photos are edited but let me know...

Which of these represents gray and black the best?
