This coat is badass

Actually, all of the pieces in that fabric were awesome - I picked out something else as my favorite, but in the same fabric - that's the beauty of it.  Two people look at the same collection, recognize really good stuff, and personal tastes are the differentiating factor.

But, to reiterate Greg's point - there is an insane amount of stuff out there, and it seems to be only growing.  When I went to my first tradeshow, over 16 years ago now, the shows seemed much smaller.  I was also in my 20s, and had a lot more energy to walk the shows, but in tradeshows alone, a slew of them have risen up in the past decade or so, from Capsule to Liberty to any number of more niche shows, and the number of labels has exploded.

In the wake of Robert Geller's outstanding FW 2016 runway show, I'm pleased to announce pre-orders on the three (3!) bomber jacket styles this season: The Massimo, the Raphael, and the Garment Dyed. Pre-orders are now live, but will close end of day, Thursday, February 11th. We have to get our complete order to Robert Geller by then, so when they're closed, they're closed.

The Massimo: bomber with tonal knit collar, cuffs, and hem, and unique strap closure. Available in brown or black. $905, so a 50% deposit of $452.50 or $362 after code PREORDER discount at checkout. Available in sizes 44 through 52. I'm wearing a size 48 in the above photo, which is one larger than my typical Robert Geller size. Delivery is expected to be July 2016.

The Raphael: bomber with removable shearling collar. Available in taupe, black, or navy (not pictured). $775, so a 50% deposit of $387.50 or $310 after 20% PREORDER code discount at checkout. Available in sizes 44 through 52. I'm wearing a size 48 in the above photo, which is one larger than my typical Robert Geller size. Delivery is expected to be August 2016.

The Garment Dyed: 100% cotton bomber in garment dyed yellow (ochre-ish), magenta, grey, or black (not pictured). $625, so a 50% deposit of $312.50, or $250 after 20% PREORDER code discount. Available in sizes 44 through 52. I'm wearing a size 48 in the above photo, which is one larger than my typical Robert Geller size. Delivery is expected to be August 2016.

Any photos of the color black surfacing on the internet for the Garment Dyed MA-1? This looks like a great alternative to replacing my old Ervell MA-1.

Edit:
Will the black have the same contrasting zipper hardware?

I get the runway photos are edited but let me know...

Which of these represents gray and black the best?

Hey there beautiful, I'm looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you. And don't worry, my wife will love you too, she's not the jealous kind...

Sartoria Formosa DB, pre-tailor

Sartoria Formosa DB grey chalk stripe flannel, pre-tailored, with a "test" shirt, tie, handkerchief. I'd been eyeing this for a few months. With the current discounts and a good phone chat with Kyle (thanks @conceptual 4est), I dived in. I am totally looking forward to wearing this beauty (after some adjustments to the sleeves and pants)! More pics in a few weeks.

Hey Greg or Kyle.

On sizing for a Geller Garment Dyed or Raphael and an Eidos HJ in 630 grams fabric:

The Geller Heavy chambray shirt in 48 fits me fine for a medium shirt. But would I go for a 48 or a 50 on the Geller to have not a slim fit as I normally wear a large jacket.

I'm a 48 on the Burgundy 340 g. FJ and I like the fit. However would I stay at 48 for the HJ as I intend to wear it with a shirt and or sweater?

The Eidos Navy donegal nailhead 340 g. fabric FJ: Does it have the same softness, heft, drape etc.as the amazing Burgundy FJ fabric? Or is it stiffer. I guess I'd stay with a 48 on that one.

Thanks.

Grey Geller bomber ordered :slayer:

Now I need to decide today if I am going for the grey preorder trifecta:

NR SB in dove grey

Geller bomber in grey

Eidos HJ in grey boiled wool????

Went for navy donegal SC and brown HJ.
Still wondering whether should have gone fuzzy navy HJ.

It takes me a second every single time I read "HJ" to remember it stands for Hunting Jacket lol

Somewhere out there @unbelragazzo is restraining himself from making additional HJ jokes.
