thanks for posting Greg. You've seen the shearling live, and the fabrics up close and personal, out of interest, which HJ gets your vote? Blue fuzz, shearling or brown great coat?

1 of my 3 Geller bombers, just saying (Click to show)

Sorry if this is answered previously but if I preorder and EIdos suit can I request different sizes for jacket and pants? The pants on last season's RTW suits seemed too large for me to tailor down (I wear a 50 jacket and a 46 pant taken in an inch.)

Really hard to choose between the Raphael in taupe and the Garment dyed in Magenta.

@conceptual 4est is that the black you are wearing in the Raphael pic?

Thanks!

It's not removable, and is attached to the side seam - take a look at the photos on the pre-order page, and you'll see what I mean.

It's the taupe - same color as the runway photo. Black is on the pre-order page, and has tonal black shearling.

The shearling is beautiful and decadent!  for me personally, I think I would get more wear out of one of the boiled wool fabric (prob the lighter grey would get my vote) or the fuzzy blue

No you cannot.

lol. If Greg has any more pre-orders this week he might die from all the questions.

Great details on that Garment Dyed bomber. So, on trend too.

death by a thousand questions.

Death by spring/summer questions before pre-orders are even wrapped up. Holy hell.

Right there too bud. Have the spring Khaki version of the FJ, thinking of the Navy Sateen one for fall, and then a boiled wool HJ for winter..

I wear a 52r in most suits including eidos. Have a 50r FJ in that khaki ragosta for spring that fits great. Not much layering with that. Also have the 52R Wool FJ, that's much heavier but not bulky. Can easily layer under this.

This time around I'm going 52R for the FJ and HJ if I can just stop wussing out..

A little help with the Eidos Field Jacket sizing. I have a 52 in the spring/summer 2015 blue hopsack and it fits incredibly well. Perfect actually. I could not wear this over a sport coat though, nor do I want to.

I'm *loving* the 'Brown/grey thick basketweave Loro Piana wool field jacket, 550g wool', and wanted to hear from anyone who owns both the summer and winter weight options in the field jacket.

Would I need to size up to a 54 to account for the heavier fabric? Again, this would not be to wear over a sport coat, but rather just typical fall casual. It just seems like the 54 is quite a bit larger in the sizing charts. Wondering if Eidos already takes fabric weight into account...

Any help would be appreciated!

Which of the MTO offerings for the Eidos field jackets are comparable in weight to the Burgundy field jacket of this season? I can't seem to find it on the website any longer, but it is the sexiest jacket I own. I would love a Navy make up in a similar weight for our mild winters.

BTW garment dyed bomber reminds me of vintage Helmut Lang nod[1].gif

The blue "donegal" birdseye.  Same exact weight at 340g.  The medium grey melange is also about the same weight
