This coat is badass

I totally agree, that coat is insane. I just wished I lived in colder weather where I could buy and wear some of these really cool pieces. I hate black jackets but that black piece would be pretty fucking spectacular

So, is anyone interested in pre-ordering the Monitaly quilted coat? If so, let us know ASAP via an email at customer@nomanwalksalone.com

We need to put together our FW16 order for Monitaly tomorrow Monday and we won't be ordering all three colors for the rack, so if you know you want one, pre-order it and get your discount too. $428 is such a good price for this piece... (No that's not the 50% deposit).

Hi guys,

We are not going to run a full pre-order process for Monitaly, but I wanted to give you the opportunity, if you'd like, to pre-order one style which I personally think is the star of the collection for me:  this quilted "work coat" with removable hood.   It is an incredible coat and made up in that very attractive cotton herringbone in three colors.  Light poly fill with this sick diamond quilting, the shape of the pockets remind me of the classic Maremma hunting jackets and the faux-fur collar/hood lining is so soft.

All three colors (khaki, olive and black) are sick in their own way, the cotton outer feels nice and substantial and the Vancloth cotton liner is so comfortable and not as warm as the full faux-fur lining of the ranch coat.  As you can tell, I love the piece!

Sizing is very much TTS.  The piece I'm trying on in the pic is a 40 and feels a full size too small for me, but not two sizes.  In some Monitaly pieces, I need to size up to 44, but this is not one of them

Pricing is also incredible value : it will retail at only $535 so after a pre-order discount, it will be $428 which seems absurdly low for a piece like this.

Anyways, please let me know if you're interested in pre-ordering your size in the color you want and I will put together a pre-order page for a few days only

Fit pics (click to enlarge)  - excuse the weird jaunissed white balance

We're reviewing the collection tomorrow but I don't believe bunny parkas are still part of it.   I think that the bunny piece this coming fall is a trench

This thread gives me crazy outerwear envy. It's going to be over 80 today, inching up toward the 90 over the next week. I'm hitting the beach, then wearing my tss floral vines shirt to a super bowl party this afternoon.

I hear that.

But I'm buying more outerwear than I need cause its just too nice to my eyes. I'll stock up for travel mostly and the small window of cold; although it's in the high 50's right now down here.

Perfect Super Bowl weather.

If there's been any shrinkage in the chest, it's been minimal enough to not notice. Lengthwise and the sleeves, though probably came up about a half inch.

This is when the Uggs and down vests come out in South Florida.

There are a couple photos of it on IG. I'm not a fan of it to be honest....

I said Uggh when I read that cause its true. I've seen several pairs worn already.

S. Fl. is not very fashion forward, esp. with outerwear.

Greg, Is Frank Leder making the Great Coat again for FW16? Interested, if he is.

While I am not a traditional backpack person, I have been intrigued by the Master-piece "Potential" backpack/overnighter.

Does anyone have experience with Master-Piece? Greg, Kyle, or anyone else have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, LA Guy, 1969, and msg for your comments on the Master-piece bags. Greg or Kyle, can you kindly add your thoughts and suggestions?

To be fair, for days like Friday I want to wrap myself in as much down and slush repellent clothing as possible.

Every other day though, yeah it's rough out there.

There are far more of us from Boston than South Florida on here though

I've got no doubt about that.
