hey Kyle,

I had Merino in size V. Chest and shoulders were perfect but sleeves were too long. Will this be same case with Thinner?

5'8 with 39" chest

Camel beige Thinner my #1 choice still.

The sleeves won't be as long, plus there is the knit cuff to keep things in check :fistbump:

It's a really plush, heavily brushed cotton flannel - tons of fluff to it. As for if we'll have it, I need to leave some surprises for next fall  ;)

So I returned the Document trousers in L because they were a little too big on me. They are still there and now on sale. They are the most awesome casual trouser ever and someone should buy them right now.

I dunno. I have that blue "denim" flannel botanic (or garden? I forget which I kept) from a few seasons ago and the button down collar is actually really great, the fabric is so soft but the collar still stays crisp and flat, there's no roll at all to it.

I have that same shirt @OccultaVexillum, it's one of my favorites. Have it in the denim blue and charcoal

How are the sleeves on the Thinner, lengthwise?

Hey Greg, that ecru sozzi knit tie, what am I matching that with shirt/jacket wise?

The Thinner is just such a well designed jacket.  Everything is right there, the ribbing (with the back bottom hem rib) the back is really clean with a split yoke, the side pockets, the peak of thin knit liner when open.... :inlove:

Some Jacket Thinner pr0n...

Just when I thought I had decided for basketweave. That beige looks so dang nice.

I will let Don Sozzi do the talking here...

I think that as long as the shirt is lighter than the tie (white or very light/pale blue), you can do a lot of things with the jacket/suit colors

alright, I'm in.

I just wanted to cast another vote for keeping Bigi ties at 9 cm. I am obsessive enough to notice the difference between 9 and 8.5, and it is one of the main reasons I really like the Bigi selection. I might not buy them if the width were 8.5, certainly not if it was 8. I agree that a wider tie is better with wider lapels.

The other reason to buy them, of course, is that they are excellent. If they are not selling then guys in this thread need to look again.

@gdl203

Greg or Kyle,

Does SS offer a size 2?

I don't have any SS pieces but curious my sizing in the Conservation coat if a 46R Formosa is only slightly big on me. I wear Monitaly 5 zip in size 38 and Eidos in a 46, though it's a tad long.

I'm 5'7...

Cheers,

46R Formosa was also a little big on me and I'm a IV in most Schneider stuff.

They don't offer 2 for men, and you definitely wouldn't need 2. Either 3 or 4, depending on your preference. I'm leaning 3 for you - sleeves and length would be better

Eidos jacket back from the tailor

^ Looking good.

I figure this might be a good place to ask: does anyone know an online stockist of women's Inis Meain sweaters? (Other than IM itself.)
