I have it, but a Steed MTM suit. (Sorry, Greg! I didn't want patch pockets. :embar:) The fabric is great. The overall visual effect is a bright navy with a touch of grey, and the dark nailheads give it an appearance of texture. I don't find 13 oz. fabrics particularly uncomfortable up to the 80's really (at least in the low humidity Bay Area). Another recommendation for the Lesser. If you want to go lighter, there's a similar cloth in the Lesser 11/12 oz book (#30966, I think; pic below). I looked at both and preferred the 13 oz. because it's a bit brighter. Both are nice, though.

Formosa with a proper shirt and trousers: (Click to show)

The jacket doesn't sit like that (with the crease across the center area) when I'm standing, so probably did some weird robo pose trying to position myself for the camera. Sorry for the lighting.

Think I'll take @Mr. Six's advice for bay area weather and get my first Formosa suit. shog[1].gif

You won't regret it. They're really nice and very good looking. I was on the fence for a while until I took the plunge, and I just ordered number 7 today, with 8 preordered and fabric for 9 and 10 either in hand or ordered.

Formosa?! Yeah, I'm loving these nailhead worsted wools. Goddamn you guys!

Yeah Formosa. Mostly suits (1 DB and the 3p on the way, the rest the usual), two jackets, and the next 3 will be jackets as well.

Hmm, looks like the document parkas are sold out in small. Is anyone here selling one? ( sorry if this is frowned upon)

Also, I'm a size 36-38 (17.5' shoulders, 38.5'  chest, 25' arms), do you guys think a medium document parka will work out fine?

Probably so you can wear it like a backpack/slingbag if it's too warm for it

Agreed, no hood or scarf necessary!

No the straps on Geller bombers are too short for that. These don't have any practical function, they are just meant to hang out of the back of the jacket and look cool and strappy.

The Document parka hadn't really been on my radar until I saw all the discussion here. Wow, that thing looks great! It's damn cold in the NYC area today so I just ordered the gray version in L.

You've said the fawn is your favorite out of all the rotas, right?
