XL is enough for those Niche sweatshirts. They're cut roomy. I like the comfortable fit of the Memory in sz 6 on me but some people have sized down for a closer fit.

Gosh, in a bit of an unfortunate position. On the plus side, just received the Navy pinstripe Formosa, and it is just gorgeous. Fits perfectly. And the fabric is wonderful. Fits better than any Formosa I have tried on yet.

Now for the downside. It is a size 48. All of my other Formosa's are a size 50, and, accordingly, have not really got as much wear as I had initially hoped. I may be looking to liquidate what I have collected at some point in the fairly near future, to make room for what is undoubtedly a better fit frown.gif. I will be taking pictures tonight though, just to make sure.

On the balance, I am happy that I will be happy in Formosa's again. And the navy pinstripe is truly, truly gorgeous.

As someone who would likely toe the line between 50 and 52, DO let us know if this comes to pass.

15F when I left the house this morning. Fortunately I was wearing the NR Moscow, the true winter coat.

I think it was a few pages back, but there was someone posting about looking for Vass loafers with a Dainite sole. You should take a look at our Heschung loafers

The last isn't quite as sleek as something like Vass's F-last, but I think it works really well with their rubber Dainite interpretation. They have a great casual shape that complements the sole nicely, which is why we went with that makeup.

I owned a pair of these ^^^^ Herschung loafers that I purchased 7 or 8 years ago. They are one of the classic styles in their shoe line. I found them to be especially comfortable and the Dianite rubber sole is a softer, more cushioned rubber than the much harder, stiffer rubber on traditional English field or country shoes. Super comfortable and good looking.

FWIW, a few thoughts on things I'd like to see...

In future stock, I'd love to see a re-up of the GI light blue oxford shirt (the Alumo Oxford fabric). That's one of my favorites. I find it very versatile, and I would love another. I would also be interested in picking up a buttondown version in addition to the spread collar offering.

My other thought may only affect a small number of people, for all I know. I would love to get more into NMWA knitwear, but on some of what seem like your staple knitwear offerings (S&C, Inis Meain), I've found that the sizing does not work for me. I'm on the small side of your customer base, but in many areas I find your sizing works great for me (for example, 46 Eidos, 37 GI work well for me). In knitwear your collab rollneck with Inis Meain fits great for me in the smallest size, as do the GRP A-1s in a 2 or 3, depending on how I want the fit. I suspect the Jamieson's might also work well for me, but I haven't tried them. But, for example, I'd love to break in to your Scott & Charters offerings (the design of the cardigans looks great) or try some of your other Inis Meain offerings, but looking at measurements they always seem significantly too big for me.

Have others with similar size needs found this problem? Maybe I'm missing something, or maybe measurements are misleading me. Of course, there also is some subjective preference at play here -- some people prefer looser fitting knitwear.

thanks Kyle. I would've tried these if my size was available. I think a 40= size 6.5UK, no? Same with Barbanera loafers (though not dainite). but I understand at some point there needs to be a cutoff for sizing in RTW...

I just saw that excellent Star Wars premiere blog post. Please tell me Kyle or Greg has put that ensemble all together and worn it for a photo
