Agreed. Still regret sleeping on that one. There was also a plaid flannel one this year that matched the lining of the Bird Watching jacket. Grabbed the jacket from NMWA but the scarf elsewhere

Does anyone own both a pair of Rota trousers and Eidos Sal trousers? Do you take the same size in both? How do they compare?

I'd definitely get those ts quilted jackets as well.

Some other suggestions:

Ocbd inglese - if they are willing
Pleated pants (there I said it) - the Rotas are awesome
Vass loafers
I totally slept in the tobacco brown lamb suede Valstar

Others can chime in but I wear the same size in both. Main differences are much higher rise and slimmer leg with narrower opening for Sal.

More suede/leather bomber, blouson type jackets.

Does Big John do shirting? I love to see an offering of something slightly more workwear/Japanese chambray/etc. I know some other denim shops have offerings but would love to see what you come up with

Viberg chukka or Chelsea boot

High quality leather jacket (non racer style)
Big John does shirting. I picked this up a while back. Love it, but only wear it super casually because the sleeves are just a touch short for my monkey arms. For comparison purposes, the sleeves are longer than PF but shorter than Inglese and Leder, which are both perfect for me.

This is an interesting point.   We love outerwear in fall/winter but I understand what you're saying.  What categories do you guys feel that we're under-buying and should get more range/depth in?

mainly underwear

I know I lean towards the more casual side...but I do feel like since not continuing with Esemplare there is a bit of a gap on the high quality casual sweatshirts and cotton sweaters you had. I love IM but that weight doesn't work for me everyday. Perhaps Merz, Niche or TS(S) has something?

Lots of Italian options there, but it's nice to have others that are slightly less refined.

Document will be returning for the Spring (including a few great pairs of trousers ;) )

You should take another look at our ts(s) and Camoshita - we tend to select stuff from them that is slightly less out-there, but just looks good when worn

I'll add to the Merz request.

for me, Merz stuff would be perfect if all the tops were 2 inches longer

re Merz:  are you guys more into the short sleeve henleys, long sleeve henleys or crew and v neck tees ?
