I'm just curious if anybody here bought this jacket: http://www.nomanwalksalone.com/index.php/navy-hopsack-sport-coat-12-13-oz-wool.html

As soon as I saw it, it struck me as the ultimate quote-unquote year-round-go-to-navy-blazer.

And I want to live vicariously through whomever you are.

Just received my second NMWA order. I have been dinged both times for customs. $25 and $30 for $100 and $130 items. These are just accessories so I probably can never buy a big ticket item from NMWA. I have no complaints with NMWA obviously as their products are just terrific and customer service is superb.

The packaging of the products is great but I think there should be an option where we can select minimal packaging. I believe both times I got hit by duty because the packages were quite big in size (for a tie and scarf). That's just my theory as to why customs went through the package. I think a minimal packaging option would help some of us in Canada. Just a suggestion.

I have recently ordered items from other vendors for around the same declared value and not been hit.

you live in TO. Easier to just fly down to NYC and shop and bring the items back if you are contemplating big purchases.

We can remove all packaging if you prefer - just email us after you place your order.

Norwegian Rain in action.  Was my "OneCoat" for 4 days of kid tourist duty in DC.  Liner in, hood on, but rolled up, for those looking for configuration.  You're never looking that cool with 3 little monsters and shlepping a bag of stuff, but I think this coat dresses down pretty well and it is functional/practical as all hell.  I would like to have seen pocket warmers / access to pockets in the liner from the outside main pockets, my only critique.  Great in the wind. Was solid against a herd of stampeding elephants.

Clear to me I need some of those stylish Butteros....:)

@Greg

Is this what you've generally recommended? Unfortunately, there are no measurements up for the double breasted casentino coats. I'm looking at sizes 52 and 54 specifically.

Yes. Most people have been sizing down one

Any of you guys purchase the Eidos Calvary twill trousers in slate blue? Love the color but don't exactly know what to pair them with. Navy blazer...? Or would that be too low in contrast?

Greg any chance you'll do pre-orders for the next batch of Norwegian Rain coats?

Navy would be good, especially if texture is markedly different from the twill. Also great: grey, brown, burgundy, rust
