How warm is the Frank Leder duffle coat?

Never owned any Schneider, would appreciate some sizing help!

Looking at the 'Addict crewneck sweater in green melange with black overstitch'

The '4' is sold out, which I guess corresponds with a medium. Wondering if I could fit a '5'.

Yeah, its the grey with red overcheck, the check is really subtle, I love it.

It's next to "Too Many Knits" Island. I believe there are also some misfit toys around there.

I have both RRLs in slim fit and the Big John. The leg and taper are the same. The rise is slightly longer with the Big Johns, which I'd consider more of a mid-rise (as far as jeans go). The RRLs fit with a lower rise.

FC package arrived.  The Rota brown waffle pants are like butter...fabric is fantastic...donegal vibe, but very subtle.  Valstar field coat very solid as well...lots of wear in its future.  Thanks @Patrick R for your help.

How did you size on the Valstar coat? Measurements look like they are meant to be worn over a blazer if you go TTS.

I ordered 50 (TTS for me) and just tried it on.  Fits well over a my slightly chunky sweater.  Given its length, I probably wouldn't wear it over a sports coat

The wool melton is a beast and it will block the wind like nothing else.  The coat itself has no additional layers of wool, down or anything else.  Just a thick slab of melton mool cut into a coat.  I think it's quite warm and protects from the elements well - but not in the same sense as a goose-down or fur-lined parka
