Looks like the same size in the Inis Meain fit differently (have different chest measurements). Specifically between the cardigan and the toggle shawl. Can you clarify?

So do I need to upsize one for the toggle shawl?

I would not size up or down for any of the Inis Meain personally.   The cardigan definitely will fit a little bit roomier than the aran sweaters for example (but the cable knitting will allow for some stretch over time) so that may be helpful for someone between sizes, but it isn't significant.   The linen-stitch is a more comfortable fit, but that is also as it is intended to fit so I wouldn't size down

Also, keep in mind that they are hand knitted, and there will be slight variation anyway. I have the Aran crewneck in both noce and anthracite (both M), and the anthracite fits noticeably slimmer and longer.

^  that's true but consistency and QC has changed quite a bit in the last couple seasons.  I didn't find much variance in the stock we got for example

Good to know, Greg.

Here is another photo of Palissandro for those who might be interested.

Greg, since I have a tubular dress belt, can you compare the lengths of an 80-cm tubular dress belt and an elastic woven belt in a size small? I'm not sure if the length measurements of the elastic woven belts under the description are of the total length or "4-5 inches inside of that measurement."

Thanks!

Wow I'm late, had no idea you guys existed, and now the stuff I want on your site is sold out in my size :(  I should venture out to the Classic Menswear side of this forum more.

Anyways, any idea on when the LBM polo overcoat in grey will be restocked?

Hello to everyone- first time on this particular thread.
What is the thickness and weight of the Aran cardigan compared to the SNS Stark (of which I obtained my first one this season)? Is is lighter or heavier weight.
Are these considered softer or of the same degree of roughness compared to the SNS?

Hi there - we aren't restocking these coats. What is your size? They fit really small - everyone sized up.

Hope to see lots of pics of your trunk show. It sounds like a great time. Have a great event Greg.

Guys, between all the quoted posts, I can't tell which color this is--is it pallissandro? Or grigio/antracite? Want for an MTO.

Greg, Could you give a break down of the special mixes in the IM knits? I am mostly interested in (from left to right) numbers 2 & 3. It looks like viola and noce for #2 while #3 is rosaroassa and viola? And one more thing, would the sleeve length on a Large be long enough for someone who wears a 34/35 shirt? The medium birdseye IM was a little too short in the sleeves for me, and I want to make sure a Large would suffice before ordering. (I'm torn between the toggle shawl and gansey).

I have a feeling that WAYWRN is going to be carpet-bombed with pics of this sweater in early 2014 smile.gif
