It sounds a little like a sweater we just bought for next fall (minus the zipper part). Front is one shade, back a complementary shade, but the neck is cut in a way that it can be worn on either side.

I propose an MTO sweater that's just woven zippers.

Greg, just confirming, you're going to stock the linen pub jacket in navy and grey?

No we're not stocking that style at all. It's MTO only. We received a navy and a grey sample to show

From the email:

"We'll be showcasing our Spring / Summer lineup, will have a few great made-to-order offerings, and will have some great deals on current season samples."

Any info on what the deals on current season samples are and are ppl who can't make the trunk show get in on that?

That would be difficult.

How well does linen wear in the elbow if you're at a desk for most of the day? :embar:

About abuse of the return policy, I have quite an opposite story. Last week, I bought two pairs of sport shoes (running shoes and futsal shoes) from the official webstore of Adidas for Japan. The running shoes pair fits like a glove, the futsal shoes pair is obviously smaller and narrower. However, the online purchase agreement states that I cannot return them unless they have made mistake with the color of the good or sent me different goods or one of the pair has a defect. If the shoes fit differently from what they are supposed to, the customer bear no right to return the goods. I was aware of that when I clicked "make the purchase" button. Hoping for an exchange giving some measurement differences, I called, sent emails, talked with someone at the Customer Protection Agency here - I was told that's the legalese you agreed to when making the purchase. So, it sucks. Having a bigger foot, I cannot get to try on most of the shoes because rarely you could have in store 29cm or 30cm (US 11).

Sometimes, my point is, that not only the customers but the business at fault, as well.

Having the seemingly highly entertaining "zipping" topic out of the way (thanks a lot, Greg), when can we see the summer Rotas and Inglese coming up? <<insert wide eyed anticipation dripping smiley here>>

man off white jeans are great, going to see what the specs are like

I could not even wait that long. I just had to have those jeans. So I decided to buy first, and then verify the size. My hopes are high. Now I might need to find a linen sweater for them.

Anybody has a sample of Inis in the blue Gentian color? I'd like to see how dark it actually is. Also the order page mentioned of size XS which is missing measurements on the Inis site. Is it actually possible to order XS for the pub jacket? Thanks.

how dark is the brown of cre ? ( let's use milk chocolate vs bitter dark as a benchmark )

I'd say chocolate brown but with caramel laced in it. The yarn is not flat brown, it has some slight copper accent mixed in. Very very nice IMO

We don't have any sample made up here in Gentian. It is light to medium in shade, and is a blue that turns more towards the lilac/purple end of the spectrum (not a greener blue).

On sizing, that was a typo on the order pages : S to XXL is the offered range.
