It's amazing how seemingly rational adults can be reduced to Black Friday/haul video level excitement just by mentioning the right combination of customization and exclusivity.

If anyone is interested, Tommy Nutter and I can reupholster your sofa in a limited range of 39oz. London Lounge fabrics for just 9 easy installments of 9999.99. You can also choose what tensile strength the springs will be and what color gloves the deliverymen will wear when delivering your piece. Because white-glove service is so passé -- buff chamois gloves or nothing, am I right?

Sorry guys that was just a joke.

Maybe I should abstain from jokes that refer to incredibly desirable dream items

Well I for one got the joke and was playing along :/

I'd be down for that for sure. I missed out on the last jackets and regretted it.

This I can get behind. When you're in the market for it, it's hard to find the right color suede.

I must say, this whole webshop + semi-bespoke paradigm is really giving a shot in the arm to what had become the dreary click, rinse, repeat retail experience. Has real potential.

Here in Orlando, flannels are already packed, even my heavier oxfords are starting to be retired for the season.
I'm jealous of your weather and envious of your gear.

thanks, but 23 degrees is never enviable. unless of course you live in an igloo.

Just received a pair of Rotas in tan twill in 48. Love these pants.
If anyone else has 48 in Rotas let me know! :slayer::slayer::slayer:

As am I. It's scary how much I love my suit...scary for my checking account that is. Definitely going to need more.

No joke, I'm very susceptible to motion sickness from the sort of visual stuff that doesn't bug anyone else, and I can't look at that. Just seeing the pattern for a few secs and I can sense that inner twitch that means a headache or worse is coming if I don't stop. Seriously, I'm not sure if it would have the same effect in real life - maybe I'm reading it that way now because of it being 2D'd flat on a screen - but if it did, I wouldn't want to have it in my line of vision.

My very real Achilles heel.

I'm no medical expert at all. Just wondering whether those symptoms could have some connection to epilepsy. Are you photosensitive, e.g. to strobo light, headaches or dizziness there? Because if so you might want to have that checked professionally. Epilepsy is ... not good. We had a golden retriever girl who suffered from it starting at age 7. Broke my heart every time...

Not to derail the thread, but no, no relation to epilepsy and no probs at all with strobes, flashing lights, etc.. I've had problems with my inner ears since early childhood and - as far as anyone can tell - that's where my issues stem from.
