I wear a 42 and have SS in a VI. If you have a rather muscular build, you might find it a little snug in the shoulders and arms initially. I have the SS Gemini and thankfully cotton stretches. Photos just don't do SS gear justice. I want everything SS from here on out.

I wear a shirt with 20" chest, 17" shoulder, 34" sleeve if that helps any recommendations.

I'd go medium. Niche runs a little bit small and I think this coat looks best a little oversized

Those who own multiple pairs of Butteros, if you could only choose one pair, would it be canvas, leather or suede? I am leaning towards suede but would like to hear the experiences of others in terms of comfort and durability.

The reason being that I have seen a few pairs in veg tanned leather and they seem to suffer from the streaky wrinkles on the sides of the shoes. The suede pair looks to be quite pleasant with uniform nap and the past discussions seem to also suggest they break in a little easier. There was one comment on the canvas leather combination being slightly uncomfortable due to the difference in pliability between the canvas body and the leather captoe which digs into the top of the feet although that China blue is calling out my name.

The only thing bad about suede that i can think of is that they probably dun age as well as leather and its inherent nature would make it go bald in hardwearing areas of the shoes.

Thoughts on these, gents?

A small sampling of the stock:

So, uh, does that mean...?

Any chance of getting the Malko in smaller sizes?

Can Schneider's Botanical wool shirt be hand washed?

Also, if I wore 15/38 in Inglese with 18" shoulders, what size should I take in SS Botanical? (I'm guessing size 4, but I'm not sure the shoulders would fit.)

Looks like Onitsuka Tigers. Lets see a fit pic !

That flannel popover is fantastic. I've got a couple of heavy flannels from SS and they work like knitwear. Perfect weekend shirt imo.

The tag dictates dry clean only, but I don't see why a careful, cold handwash wouldn't work.  It is all wool though so I would be gentle with it.  For sizing, it sounds like the 4 would work out well for you.

As promised, I just put up the pair of "cattail" corduroys (check out the fly placement) and 5 styles of scarves.

So, I see that you guys been busy playing around with the SS buy...but now that it's up...the Geller buy is up next?

Thanks! Would I also take size 4 in the Seeds long shirt? Is it as long as a dress shirt or longer? The picture makes me think it fits looser than the Botanical, but it doesn't look particularly long.

Yes, sizing is the same but it's noticeably longer in person, and is definitely not intended to be worn tucked.  Here's a picture I posted of me wearing one a while back, and I'm 5'9" for reference.  I just grabbed the 4 off of the rack and the back measures 35"

35" would almost reach my knees. (I think.) I'll stick with Botanical for now. Thanks again!

Yup, it's specifically meant to be a very long shirt, and worn as such
