Got my taupe suede Heschung boots, these things are absolutely killer, and I nailed the sizing as well. FWIW, my brannock size is a narrow (between B and C width) 12.5, but I can typically get away with wearing a 12 in many shoes, and I ordered these in 11.5 and the fit is great. I'll break these out on Friday this week for the maiden voyage,

same here (10.5 narrow brannock and get waway w/ 10 in many shoes, went down to 9.5) they fit great - maiden voyage today

damnit to hell. i really want this DB mack quilted jacket. but the only size available is a 46. i will be wearing it over a sweater almost always, will the 46 be too big though?

I think the quilted jacket in a 46 will be too big on you, sorry stitch.

mac size should = your suit jacket size. if your sweater is super chunk, you may get away with one size larger, but not my recommendation.

Seeing all the Heschung makes me sad that I got so stuck on sizing and missed out on my size. I will have to cry myself to sleep in my valstarino tonight.

I know the sale price is so good, but as someone who paid the full (OK, 90% with that great SF discount) price for the Mac, I have to say it's worth it. I've gotten a ton of wear out of it this season in some crazy cold weather (by the way, anyone want to come steam some ice dams off my roof?).

The point being, bide your time and your Alva Mac will come to you.



Edit: Actually my kid requested that I wear "the coat with the squares on it" this morning. So the Alva Mac has a broad appeal.

I hadn't considered it before but after seeing some more pics of it, not sure how I didn't notice it. I would have picked one up if they still had a 38 in stock.

Pub jacket arrived. It's pretty much as awesome as I expected it to be. Can't wait to wear it out this weekend.
