Nope. We never used any shoulder construction with a pad in it. I could see sigaretta work well on a tuxedo, but I personally would not want to wear anything with a pad - it just feels weird after years of wearing unpadded shoulders

Would love to see pics of a Sigaretta made up, if y'all have any (or if SFers do) made up

I hope everyone had a chance to snag what they wanted in the mid-season promo, but as the name implies there is still more of this season to go!

Some really nice suede and leather stuff landed from Valstar, starting with a restock of the unlined butterscotch suede Valstarino. It kind of all comes back to this one, doesn't it?








We've also got this new zippered style with a very handsome collar and some really lovely paneling in the back that plays off the slightly Western yoke. Buttery soft unlined lamb suede



Anothre new zippered style is their riff on an old biker jacket from the archives, in soft Nappa lamb. This one is lined, has great hardware, and really is just super, super luxurious, even for Valstar (so that's saying something).

Got some restocks of some old friends (in case you scratched or dented one) but if that deal goes through we also have some new triples to work with:



1950s in a natural color cotton



And our seasonal pack which includes the new "Classic Green" color



Of which we also picked up the 346 crewneck of.

Some more Doppiaa has arrived, and I really like the color story that this week in particular brings. It feels very Michael Graves or something. Like the Portland Building.



I'll kick things off with this trio of knit short sleeve shirts in cotton. jewel tones but not too saturated. Great collar, too.



Linen knit tee with some cool piping to set it apart. Combined with the design of the cuffs and hem it has a pretty retro feel to it, but I guess we've come to expect (and embrace) that with these Doppiaa drops.



Gotta love some gauze. Flapped chest pockets are a nice touch on this one and make it something that would look really cool worn open as well.




And something a little different as far as polos go - really unique striated cotton, very open collar, and an extra long placket that brings it into popover territory. I think this one carries a lot of attitude with it that isn't immediately apparent.



Aantioco pleated trousers are back, made up in a herringbone cotton that adds a little extra texture for such a classic color.



And our last easy pants are nice and light, cut in a pretty open and crisp linen and cotton.

As mentioned, all of these colors play really nice with each other so it's fun to try things on in your head even with only a few styles like this.

As someone who is usually pretty lukewarm on Doppiaa these days, that's a banger selection.
