i want to buy a back scrubber, the kind with a long wooden handle. can someone please recommend a brick & mortar store for this?

Try Bed, Bath, and Beyond or Bath & Bodyworks.

Mine (with long, wooden handle) is from Target. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done.

i haven't liked anything i've ever bought from either of those stores. that includes towels, a shower rack, a shaving mirror, and a soap dish.

I've had luck with Cost Plus World Market. Whole Foods and Elephant Pharmacy are also options, also Pier One Imports - all these are high markup, though.

I pick up loofah ones from Target every so often. Good for exfoliating and I think they're only $3.99.

I'm going to take yet another opportunity to tout the wonderful Salux body polish cloth, not just for the back but whole body. Google it up, they rock.
