I'm dropping in Haberdash in Chicago this weekend to, at last, check out the Eidos stuff. Pretty excited to see everything in the flesh....err....fabric.

Question: Does Bloomingdales in Chicago carry any Eidos yet?

Thanks in advance!

Scoop in Brentwood for sportswear and Sy Devore for some tailoring. For fall it will be in Century City Bloomingdales as well.

Just saw the section in Bloomingdales NYC today (59th & lex). what a brand! Really liked the cut, shape, shoulders, etc. especially on the medio blue suit.....would highly recommend checking it out for suits /sportcoats, and ESPECIALLY for shirts. Superb Italian high/taller collars with great looking spread, patterns were really gear-- I hate to up another shirt on this trip, but prob can't resist an ejidos shirt and tie this week.

What time did you come through?! I was there from 9-1:30 remerching the shop to better highlight the sportswear.

Are you in town tomorrow? PM me if you want to grab a coffee and learn a little more about what we are up to.

Hi,

I'm interested in trying on a suit on San Diego or Orange County. Is there anywhere that is stocking them? Or is there anywhere online that has a good selection?

Thanks!

I saw the line at Haberdash in Chicago. It is amazing stuff and really nails the kind of things I'm usually looking for. The shirts all fit me very well: I'm tall and long arms. I loved the real deal Italian tall collars for sure. Phillip, who I work with at Haberdash, he's a great guy, handed me the long sleeve polo to try on, and I almost didn't even try it. I had no interest in a long sleeve polo shirt. I ended up buying it: It's an incredible shirt. The cut of the shirt is nothing like a polo shirt I've ever tried. The curved tail and button down collar with the deep placket are just killer.

Only issue is I could not fit the Haberdash cut of jackets. Shoulder were a little too narrow and sleeves too short. Would some of the other cuts than the one at Haberdash fit a bit different, like the shirts for instance?

I look forward to making it to NYC soon and check out more of the line. I will say this is really cool to see Eidos come along, as I used to buy sportcoats and button ups on SF market from you NickPollica!

I basically live in our long sleeve polos. Haberdash bought the most aggressive cut we offer and were the only store in the world to do so. In retrospect we probably should have pushed them towards our middle fit which seems to work well for most guys. Let me know when you are in the city - I'd be happy to take you through the collection at Bloomingdales!

Does Bloomingdale's (NYC) stock small sizes (36/46)? They are really bad with stocking sizes at the margins in my experience.

Went by Pocket's while I was in Dallas... look great - esp. the Tenero cut.

I'm going to have an MTM made up as they are sold out of longs. Anyone else had this done yet?

My only negative was I felt the button stance was a bit high... going to see if they can lower it at all in the MTM process.

Also thought pants were pretty full considering the slimness of jacket.

The sizing is a bit strange... generally wear 40/50 but a 42/52 was too slim in the shoulders for me.

Absolutely they do. There's a great assortment in 36r and 36s.

I love how andy and doug bought the collection - they are probably my favorite specialty store. The width of the sleevehead on the tenero made up slim this season which is making a lot of guys feel like they need to ssize up. I increased the width for fall and i think you'll find it a lot more comfortable. I also tightened the buttonstance as it felt high to me as well! They should be able to adjust that in MTM. Just have whoever is measuring you snap a photo of them measuring the jacket from the top of the back neck to where you want the fastening button to be placed and have him include that photo with the form.
