Thank you for the clarification. Now an unrelated question: Could you help me with tracking down a Matera jacket in US38/IT48?

MP3 had just one in 48 and it was sold last week (to a lucky SF member, I think). I don't see it listed at UnionMade or Barney's yet.

I'm trying to get one before the end of the month, when I will go on a trip that will take me from cool and temperate weather to warm and humid, to cool and humid, to cool and dry. The Matera strikes me as the perfect travel jacket for layering and transitional weather. There are very few such jacket on the market.

I'm set on buying one even if I can't get it in time, but any help would be appreciated.

Call Unionmade - they should have it now.

Is it safe to say that if I'm a 48 in a Burgundy wool FJ that I'd be a 48 in the Matera?

Grazie

well, thanks to this stupid thread I just picked up a pair of the mohair/wool/silk pants from NMWA -- a size big than normal, but shouldn't be that much of an issue to alter down.

Thanks, but no go. Called UnionMade's flagship store and was told that their first Eidos shipment was still in processing at their warehouse, and that they hadn't received everything yet. They wouldn't be able to sell the jacket to me offline.

Very strange. I believe Barney's NY has it in shop as well.

For all you Minneapolis-based fellas out there - I'll be at Martin Patrick on Thursday afternoon. Come say what's up!

About these pants, Marcus is getting them as well. He saw my posts here about them and messaged me to say he's also carrying them. So once his ecomm is up, you guys have another source (once I get mine of course).

Good to hear he is doing online. I always thought it was a bit awkward to schedule an appointment just to look at things.

Maybe you could politely suggest they start shipping to those of us in Canada biggrin.gif

Huge fan of the brand. It quickly beat out gant rugger as my favorite and has only gotten better since then.

Quick question -- I purchased the brown glenplaid linen field jacket  and love it but one day the teal part of the pin came out. Is there any way to replace it?

Just got the first drop of AW16: An amazing cream btn down with the best one piece collar that extends into the placket that I am now in love with (have only previously seen on Isaia). Open, soft weave and amazing details abound. For some reason we didn't order it in my size (wtf) so I am out of luck personally.
