Not tied, but for the Ajrak I doubled back and looped it through a second time, which worked pretty well for wearing it open.

That said, Ajrak isn't gonna work for me. Coming soon to B&S :/

Should be a quick sale.

I'm new to Eidos but have been following the thread for the past few weeks and think I'm here to stay.

My small collection so far includes two sport coats and three ties, with more to come. Really happy with what I've tried so far.

Just purchased this tie from blommies, had to add to my collection since its something different, even though my gf thinks it looks like a sock, lol.
Is this something to be worn with a suit ,or a more casual look like a sport coat?

Bloomies has some great offerings this season, better than before id say, some which are part of bloomies 100% collection,i will surely be picking up a few pieces ,great job nick.

With the being said,Nick mention something about the bloomies in Chicago not carrying Eidos clothing for this next season,im bumped since that is where is usally purchase about 60% of my clothing and 90% of my Eidos pieces. I mentioned this to the sales associate, which seemed suprised about it because he says Eidos sales in store have been selling way more than before (more people are aware of the brand).

This seemes to be true,as the Eidos racks have way less garments than they use too in past seasons.

Nice tie. Would definitely go casual with a tie like that.

Couple things.

First, glad you like the assortment as I didn't give them a choice and did the whole thing myself this season.

Second, we pulled out of Bloomingdales in Chicago to pick up Barney's and two great specialty stores - Morris and Sons (for the guy who is interested in more tailored goods) and Meyvn, which is one of my favorite stores in the country. Its assortment runs along the lines of Unionmade and Gentry - much more focused on the things I love and put the most work into. All three new doors will be a substantially better representation of Eidos than Bloomingdales was. I encourage you to check them out!

I got the exact same response last winter when wearing a square bottom wool tie that looks very similar to your Eidos. I was also asked (by another person)satisfied.gif if I had accidentally put the tie in the washer. I think this type of look is a SF insider kind of thing...seemingly limited to menswear aficionados. smile.gif

I've gotten nothing but compliments on mine if that means anything.

Square-end knit ties tend to baffle the average person. If they are over 40 you will inevitably here 1980s references. If they are under 40 then they seem to have their minds blown by a non-pointy tie.

I love those Eidos knits. Most people seem to compliment more than complain. Most who mock or complain are the type that like iridescent Ike Behar ties, anyway.

The Ajrak is awesome... will wear with more Eidos as well as Lemaire. Was it small for you?

Sized on me it is super slouchy, which is perfect.

I'll try to throw up a fit pic this weekend.
