I'll play Colombian drug lord wearing mine at the pool parties smile.gif. Can't wait to get it.

When I first tried mine on, I immediately thought of Tony Soprano walking down his driveway to retrieve his morning paper....

That's as far as I would go with it.

But at pool parties? That'd work....F'n cool brote....

If anyone has experience with the Christian Kimber x Eidos footwear, care to share your thoughts?

I picked up a pair of the Crosshair loafers as well as the latest iteration, "Belgian" loafers. The Crosshair loafers feel great sans sock, tight without socks. Can I expect it the shoe to stretch to comfort? I am usually a US8.5 and was shipped a size UK7/US8.

For the Belgian Loafers i was shipped a size 43 as I was informed they fit small. It feels nice throughout the vamp without and with socks but the heel/quarter is loose. However, I imagine this is suppose to be more leisure wear and the heel is designed to be folded down. The shoe is essentially designed to be a loafer/slipper hybrid. I am just curious if a size 42 would have been better.

I am thinking that going TTS is probably best with CK footwear but I think these are the last sizes available! I like the shoes...

Also picked up my first Lupo polo. Looks great, I like the collar. Can't wait to wear it out (will share my impressions).

^^on the crosshairs I went half size down (10.5 instead of 11). Good snug fit. I think I'd get too much heel slip going TTS. Can't say they've stretched an appreciable amount. Wear them once a week or two at most.

I ordered the Brown and the Grey Cappa Derbies and Christian told me to go TTS and I did.

And they fit great. But they were Derbies. Not loafers. I always size down at least .5 with loafers.

That may not have helped you. :decisions:

^^Thanks guys. @teddieriley Is that with or without socks? I am trying to think of versatility or whether I should expect to just go sockless.

I actually went TTS on the crosshair loafers and the fit is great for me with a minimal amount of heel slip. I think i'd have had too tight a squeeze in the forefoot had I gone down a half size. My feet are a little on the wide-side though (but I take regular widths in most all shoes nonetheless).

Cotton no show socks. Don't wear shoes sans socks, except for my castaner espadrilles. I'm sure I can wear these loafer with thinner full socks. Might be too snug with thicker socks during the winter.

Did anyone here pick up the brown Eidos Henley Christian was selling earlier?

Nicest Henley I've ever worn.

Recently picked up my second Eidos formal piece - the tonal windowpane tuxedo - in a bit of a roundabout way.

I ordered a pair of odd trousers from Bloomingdale's online and was surprised when I opened the package to see that they had sent me a pair of tuxedo pants and not the brown trousers I had ordered. But after checking it out for a minute, I recalled that I had seen the matching jacket (by itself) on eBay, so I quickly compared tag labels and grabbed the jacket as well. Finally have both pieces in hand today and couldn't be more excited.

Excuse the crappy photos, but wanted to share:

Can't wait to get this over to the tailor!
