Will any of these changes affect sizing? I.e. I have always been a 54 (have the first two iterations of the NMWA cut) but recently tried a 52 at your suggestion due to the shoulder divots issue and I felt it worked for me so I went ahead and preordered a suit and sportcoat in 52. Will these changes compromise my fit? Should I have went with the 54?

Interesting news about the changes around and to the shoulder. It sounds like they might address the problem that I had. Will they be incorporated into the NMWA pattern? F/W or S/S?

Changes have only been made to the Tenero so the size for your NMWA preorder will be fine.

We only tweaked the tenero.

I have been trying to buy only what I consider the basics (i.e. the most versatile pieces first), with an eye to being able to dress seasonally. Only this summer do I feel I've achieved that goal with regard to SCs. Along the way, to pay for (some of) these Eidos pieces, I've gotten rid of everything, save for two items, that wasn't Eidos, since I've found the brand embodies my personal style so well (please buy my herringbone topcoat—it will help me pay for my next SC icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif).

Eidos clothes:
3 SS SCs—navy raw silk Tenero, brown raw silk (with matching pants) NMWA, tan with teal windowpane Tipo.
3 FW SCs— navy herringbone "donegal" Primo, brown gun club NMWA, brown donegal tweed Lorenzo.

My other tailored clothes are one Corneliani SC in cream/brown large herringbone for FW, and one year-round navy suit from eHaberdasher.

Out of curiosity how would you say the eHaberdash suit compares to you Eidos tailored wear from a quality and fit perspective?

Ugh I'm such a bad person to ask that kind of thing lol. It's full canvas. The lapel buttonhole is hand stitched. Otherwise I have no clue what signals of quality I am supposed to know about.

Cut-wise, it is dramatically different of course. 2-button, padded shoulders, really long (I bought an L, so the length is 31.5" BOC), narrow lapels with a typical shape (slight belly), etc. I should probably have the waist let out a bit bc when I had it tailored a couple years ago I was the slimmest I've been. Now it's a bit tight. Oh well. I wear it only occasionally, to weddings and so forth.

Thanks for the tip, got the 4 pocket linen shirt! The measurements look over sized even for a shirt jacket but hope it fits!

That's a good question. Noah didn't send any other photos, so I think it would be best to give them a quick call to confirm.

Hi all,

Could I ask you if this Eidos suit is dated? I am considering buying it, and would like your thoughts on this. I am 27 years old, about 5'8'', fit, and in the legal profession. I wouldn't be wearing this suit to the office, but rather as a spare for when I choose.
