And now we realize who the real problem was...

Aww, don't edit your previous posts now, we were just starting to have fun! That's like turning your back on our conversation : (

Guys, can't we all just get along? confused.gif

I've already made the decision to come up to NYC on Friday/Saturday, but if I don't find anything I like at the sample sale, no biggie. I need to drop off a watch at Wempe for servicing, visit the Whitney, and check out the Armoury, Material Good, and Bloomies.

When asked a question, he was dismissive and turned away. You can't get more pretentious than that. My point stands about what is available and I felt it was valuable to post that since you have people coming from as far as DC. You the owner, should be more transparent about the selection since it sounds like people make a big deal of the sale. You're right not 2 mini racks. There were 4. Two for suits and sport coats, which if I had to take a guess, where no more than 15-20 total. A rack for pants and about 7 or 8 piece of outerwear.

No one is getting testy and I'm glad to get feedback regarding the inventory for everyone here, particularly guys who may be travelling. Further - I passed along your comments about Isaia's Intern (Not ours, FWIW Grahame doesn't have a lot of experience with our product as he doesn't work with us) to their team. That said can we keep the talk of punching people to a minimum?

As I said, I'm not currently in NY and didn't see the inventory so when I saw your post I reached out to Quinton to see what the situation was, and while its true that there isn't a huge assortment this season, it is certainly more than two racks. Quinton sent me a photo of the set up as well which I will post when I get to my computer. Hope this helps everybody.

And there proves my point that you're all a bunch of twats on these forums. Using comments against posters is fun for you as you stated. Who does that? What value have you added to your day? At least I gave honest feedback.

You sound fairly angry about your experience. You should have someone give you a hug.

And my earlier comment still stands, that the suits are terrific.

I will not comment any longer as the piece of shit group of tools on here (its a problem with styleforum overall) do not deserve any help and as the jackass above me just commented I need a hug, you all only have yourselves to blame for piling on "as it's fun" on these forums. I'm convinced many of you get a kick out of it. My earlier comment stands and was posted with the intention to be informative. It's actually my own mistake and why the hell am I even talking about clothes with other men online. It was doomed in the first place.

I'm glad to hear you are happy with them and sorry you had a bad experience at the sale. Further - Looking back I see that you had asked if we were going to have things in your size. Sorry I missed it - I do my best to answer the questions that I see but things do fall through the cracks sometimes (this goes for the pant QC question as well).

I am not all all unhappy with the product as the suits are gorgeous and fit incredibly OTR. I have no issue with a lack of response nor did I demand one or hold you accountable for a sale. My initial post was designed to be informative. In hindsight, perhaps I shouldn't have been so pointed about your intern, but I'm not going to apologize for that.

I'm more upset with the pansies on this forum, which has been a problem not only for me, but for many and for many years. The irony is, this always happens when I try to be helpful. Never do I have these types arguments in real life, but for whatever reason, it happens all the time on here. It's like these dudes know exactly what I am saying, but troll for the fun of it. Personally, I think they know if they fuck with me and people like me on these forums, it riles us up. I fall for the trap every time and they love it. I'm now on to it.

Name calling aside, I think all those posts are pretty unfair and a bit childish. I was there this afternoon for a solid 45 minutes digging through all the great finds, the entire time Grahame was working with/conversing with another customer. If I had any questions, I would have pardoned my interruption and asked, rather than whined about it on an internet forum afterwards. Granted, that customer was also looking to buy tons of stuff - a bit more important than someone like me looking to see how little I can spend. I don't take it personally.

As far as the overall quantity of items available, sure, there weren't tons of sportcoats/suits but from what was available, they were beautiful pieces. The shirt selection was outstanding as well as the sweaters, knits, and bottoms. Could've pulled the trigger on a few SCs but I opted for a Lupo, Dickie, and a really great tie. A lot more damage could have been done but I thought it was a great selection for a sample sale considering the breadth and scope of Eidos, also seeing as they were all, for the most part, actual samples.
