I want to see more of this pant model available as a pair of odd trousers I can pick up OTR...

Nobody has bought the lorenzo model otr and i cant imagine it happening based on how stores buy our tailoring. Boots are going to be available at Barney's next season.

Also - where did you find this image watermarked?

I hope you consider offering group buys or pre-orders, or maybe NMWA can allow for odd pant pre-orders next time

I've handled the melange blazer from Saks and can tell you that it is 100% silk (Saks has it wrongly labeled as a blend) with an open weave. It looks exactly like the one from Nordstrom.

Here's a shot of the weave (melange blazer from Sak's) -

Speaking of tailoring, who stocks Tenero in 36. I have a difficult time finding that size and cut.

looks really, really similar to my raw silk jacket from last spring/summer (if not identical). I've posted pics of it here before. It's 1 of my 2 favorite Eidos jackets I own (of 5).

BTW those raw silks—if this is indeed the same fabric—have given me color fast-ness issues in the armpits. The lack of lining means if I sweat and it's hot, the color rubs off on my shirts. It's actually stained one shirt permanently (the color fades with each wash but still).
I'm going to sew my own additional lining into the pits. Pit-flaps, lol. The brown jacket I have from NMWA (same fabric, different color) is worse, but the navy does it as well.

Good to know. I have the same navy raw silk jacket as you.

Thanks for this. Was going to try the jacket out but not willing to lose a few shirts in the process

Everyone's experience varies, of course, but I will say that I have the same jackets, and I haven't experienced any color fastness problems.

@vida

GentryNYC and I believe Stanley Korshak. Maybe Matrin Patrick 3 or AK Rikks.

I really do wish the 36 size was more popular.

yeah by no means am i saying don't get the jacket or avoid it. just that i was surprised when, while on a trip, wearing it all day while traveling (unexpectedly having to travel a long way otherwise I would have dressed differently), i took off my jacket to discover color having come off on my shirt. it doesn't bother me

I have a silk jacket that also ran really warm and my deodorant ran onto the cloth which sucked and my cleaners couldnt take it out. Last foray into silk jackets

I stopped by Bloomingdale's on Michigan ave yesterday, to my surprise they had a small assortment of Eidos casual clothing.I purchased a dark green long sleeve lupo which I'm not sure what to wear with (sport coats) etc besides itself. I also purchased a navy short sleeve in size XXL which is too long for me as I wear XL,my question is and I'm sure this has been addressed before ,but do they shrink when washed? If they do shrink I would just have it hemmed as its too long,if not I would have to sell here if anyone is interested.

You're not going to get shrinkage a full size. Not even half size for that matter. Granted, I haven't dried a Lupo on high heat, but it's unlikely. Usually I just get it to around the original fit as it was before my full day of wear may have stretched it out.
