Can't the tall guys have anything? ;)

I have two Eidos polos from previous seasons in size M, both fit about the same, but if they really did slim down this season, L might be the better size for me.

Of the 3 I have, 2 of the chest measures 20 3/4" and one measure 20 5/8". I'm usually a MD but picked up the Lupos in LG as I don't really like my polos too fitted.

I have a burgundy LS Lupo polo from this season (Bloomingdale's) and several from last season (Haberdash), all size M. When I wore the burgundy one, it felt the same as the others. I just now measured the pit-to-pit dimension and they are 20" from both seasons. So at least I did not experience the shrinkage others have posted about regarding the LS Lupo polos.

Just after joining Styleforum 8/2014, I made my first "big" fashion purchase of this Eidos Lupo from The Armoury in Grey/blue stripe. I had no idea who Eidos was or what I'd do with this. But I wanted to cross the line out of my old wardrobe into something nice. And the pullover was sprayed in that wonderful rosewater(It still has that smell) scent. I was hooked.

You all talk size M or L but mine is tagged 151/2 39.

You have to be a freaking contortionist to get in and out of this thing. But it's beautiful.

This is how the LG fits on my 5'10" at 165lbs. Physical chest of 39".

I need a Lupo Polo or a few..

Thanks @YseanY, I am 5'9 and about 155lbs. I think a medium would fit me better as I was considering a large at first. I would probably just wash cold and hang dry. Steam press is optional.

I don't think you need to worry about shrinkage. These don't really shrink in the wash (assuming not tumble dried).

Thanks for the pic, metranger. If getting in and getting out of that piece is too much of a hassle, let me know, I offer to take it off your hands (and out of your closet) for free wink.gif

Thanks guys. My medium from S15, after being worn, is right at 2" ptp. Seems like the large ones this season are about the same.

The Lupos are letter-sized. But pullovers and dress shirts seem to be dress shirt/number sized. Wish I knew about this one when it was available, I dig it. I got a later linen version. After having the sides tailored, I need help from the gf taking it off. Getting it on by myself is a muscle-straining challenge.

Nice co-ed exercise!

Mine is linen too. I always worry I'll rip it squeezing into it.

PSA to all lupo wearers out there. That placket button is there for decoration - no need to button it! The placket is deliberately cut to overlap in a way that stops it from opening and exposing too much chest. Buttoning that button changes the line and shape of the collar.

What @nickpollica said.

Aha! I noticed that. Good to know.
