I've seen it there before, but I haven't been in awhile. I'll have more details tomorrow.  What's your size?

My Eidos jacket finally arrived in Australia. A little creased due to freight forward repackaging (which save me a lot on postage). It looks and feels beautiful and fits well (a touch shorter than expected but that might just be comparing to the suit jacket I have on).

I cannot wait to get it home, sort out he creasing, get the buttonholes on sleeve cuts and buttons sewn and start wearing this beautiful thing.

By the way it is greener when you very close, but looks more greeny grey (which I was hoping) from a distance.

I wanted the brown windowpane sportcoat but I realized it was a bit higher than I wanted to spend and I saw this suit and was like interesting. Told the guy if I didn't like the pants I could return and he said for sure so I pulled the trigger. Yes that's 3 eidos clothing purchases within a month. I love this brand.

justin,

more info on this suit please ....... color, fabrication, pattern, etc....

i recall antonio wearing a brown micro houndstooth some time ago, but this looks a little different

The NYC Bloomies had a rack full of the stone colored blouson when I visited the Saturday before last. (I came up for the day from DC.) Not sure of sizes. I can PM you the name of the SA I met if you'd like.

The color on that one is really cool. Green enough to be green (and wear with grey) but not alarmingly green or anyhting

The suit is a brownish grey color. Looks brown with grey checks. I was after something like this and I saw it and tried it and now the pants just need some work. Need to take the waist in and cuff the bottoms. Its a great looking suit. 100% wool also

Your pics of the Eidos wool/silk jacket sold me, @Monkeyface. I just kopped the last one in my size from CSC. If anyone out there is interested in Eidos, call CSC immediately. Prices are ridiculous.

@NickPollica

I'm sorry if this is somewhere in this thread, but could you say something about the different cuts of jackets in the collection? I understand NMWA is going to carry the brand in the fall, so am interested in that cut (I heard it is inspired by the Liverano cut).

On other matters, I was at Carson Street last week and they had a good number of eidos jackets though for me, the patterns were on the stronger side (I'm an academic, so really opt for solid colors or more subdued patterns). But they were very reasonable ($300s after discount for jacket). I think the salesperson called the cut the "tipo" or something of that sort: length was not too short, stance good, the only thing I noticed as less agreeable to my tastes was a higher gorge though within reasonable allowances.

I did not make it up to Bloomingdales...there was a raw green silk that I saw at the Haberdash website that looked delicious.

Couldn't find measurements online anywhere so I'm just going to ask...

I have a 34" waist and 25" thighs - will Eidos pants fit me or are they too slim?

Bloomies still has some nice stuff on sale.

Anyone got a fit pic of the lavato jacket? Curious to see how it looks on. Also if anyone has it in a 40/50, what's the length like? 75cm right?

Is SF Bloomingdale's the only place carrying Eidos in the west coast?

Luke - if you are a 40/50 you should get in touch with Carson St. They have one version of the DB housecoat. It looks beautiful but it was not put into production.

Do a search of this thread on the word "Tipo" - Antonio did a post of the sizing and fit of the jackets.

Mine is the Tenero model. Shorter than a suit jacket, perfect for a blazer. It is at the tailor now getting buttons added to the sleeves.

No the lavato is the shortest model we offer coming in around 74cm on a 50, depending on the fabric (as its washed and all of the washed fabrics react differently).

I explained the fit differences in detail a few pages back.
