Thoughts on this?

Looks spot on!

I ordered a MTM suit + sportscoat on 5/4 and was quoted 5-6 weeks to receive.

Apparently, it's going to ship 6/23... so that's more like 7.5 weeks.

Hopefully worth the wait!

What was the pricing like?

I got my jacket back from the tailor. It's beautiful, but I'm hoping Antonio may be dropping the buttoning point and lengthening to jacket just a bit on long sizes going forward - otherwise I'm probably in made-to-measure only land.

Overall, I'm definitely happy, though.

Forgive that it's a terrible actual photo.

I pulled the trigger and got the jacket. I'm super excited. I need to make sure it works with everything else I have. Also going to a zegna outlet. If I don't find anything I'm going to keep it

Nice! Is that the one from Haberdash? Was (and still am) tempted by the offerings at Bloomingdales, but I think I'm going to persevere and wait to see what Lorenzo offerings are available in the fall. The lower gorge, buttoning stance, and wider lapels are much more appealing to me.

Sorry for the crappy pictures. I just purchased it. Thoughts on fit? Atleast whatever you can see of it?

Really? It's already low, considering the nature of the brand.

The fit it's great, enjoy it!

Well, so far so good: I grabbed the brown/blue guncheck from Bloomingdales NYC last week over the phone. To my delight the 40R is a fantastic fit on me, mostly due to the unfinished sleeves, thank god, as I have long arms and it's usually a deal breaker when they are functional sleeves off the peg. Other than the packing engineers being stoned and leaving the security tag on the jacket, which turned into an issue, all else went well. I was waiting until my next NYC trip this summer to check out Eidos sportcoats (I have and love a couple of the polos) but couldn't resist a sale so called a sales rep and had them ship one to me

icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gifFull props to those who alerted this thread to the 40% sale and good size selection at Blommys San Francisco! I called and nabbed the Navy hopsack as well.

Will drop some pics when I get the jackets sleeves finished.

Beautiful Beautiful cut on these...wow....totally in love with these Eidos jackets.

It's not the raw silk herringbone from haberdash, no. Though that looks nice online.

And I still think the jacket is great, I'd just (personal preference) prefer another .5" of length and the buttoning point lowering that much as well.

I do need to get a better picture, because the color is awesome in real life.

Eidos Donegal tweed DB jacket available in size EU48 for 50% off! Too bad they don't have EU46 anymore.

I wish Carson street carried longs. Glad Bloomingdales is going to put eidos online next season

I've been working on Mashburn when in the store to get them to try to pick up eidos in houston

 The boss

Is the blue bomber/cardigan on the left Eidos Napoli?  I gotta have it.

Just took this to my tailor to have the sleeves finished.  Thoughts on trousers?  Charcoal would seem the obvious choice, but I'm thinking that either brown or dark green would be interesting, too.
